I've gotten to go food here several times. I always get the shrimp and grits. It's good but I wouldn't call it excellent.

This is a great restaurant. Wide menu selection. Gumbo is house specialty. Served in a form bowl. Side Bread was really good. You have to order it. Seafood Trio is 19$ and worth it. Plenty to eat. Did not eat dessert. We read about this location on Trip Advisor. It is a family restaurant and it was packed Friday night 6-9. Mostly locals. 5-6 miles off I-10. The food is superior and service is really good. It is worth the time. We will return. Building Is plain. No flashing lights. Second location in Mobile.Wow thank you for the high praise. We love seeing when someone has a wonderful experience . thank you again and look forward to seeing you. Happy Eating Zack

Not the best fish seafood in the area and the prices are expensive! Been to a handful of other seafood restaurants in the area and found both the quality of food and prices better! The layout is not great either! Service is excellent!

The service was excellent, very attentive, very nice... I think with a few minor tweaks the could be amazing... the shrimp were grilled to perfection.., but slightly over salted .... the fried green tomatoes were cooked perfectly.... but a bit under seasoned.... the gumbo tasted amazing.... but was not very hot.... the Cajun stuffed potato tasted great... the kids chicken fingers average.... not freshly cooked... but frozen and reheated. The location is beautiful with an amazing view... but the decor is outdated. ... but was just a bit dry. Iâd certainly give it a try.

Our first visit here, and the food was excellent as was the service. Nice relaxing atmosphere (Except for the screaming baby several tables away!), and a very pleasant experience. May stop by again on the way back home. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that no warm rolls or bread was included. Should have been for the prices.

When you combine fresh local seafood, live music, a casual atmosphere and cold beer you get "a Great Local Dive" that has been an authentic piece of Causeway history since 1958. At the BLUEGILL we offer more than just a commitment to fresh traditional sea
Ate there on a Sunday at lunch. Sort of busy, but not terribly, however we waited a long time for our food. Food was not prepared well. Considering the excellent choices in the area, I won't go back.Dear Guest,On behalf of the Felixâs team, I thank you for taking the time to rate and review your recent experience at our restaurant. We truly appreciate your candid feedback. It is feedback such as yours that helps our team improve. All of your comments will be shared with our leadership team. Despite this negative experience, we hope that you will choose to dine with us again the next time you are in Spanish Fort. After a day visiting the USS Alabama Park, this was an ok place to stop. We had fried shrimp poeboys, steamed shrimp, crawfish tails. The gumbo was cold and missed the bite that a good gumbo is known for. The steamed shrimp dish had a sauce covering the shrimp that was a messy oily mess. Service was good, would probably try someplace different in the future.

Edâs Seafood Shed is a family seafood restaurant. Opened in the 2000s by the Bridgesâ family, recently purchased by âPanini Peteâ (owner of Panini Peteâs in Fairhope and Mobile, and owner of Sunset Pointe at Fly Creek Marina in Fairhope) Sticking to Edâs
Party of 4, Sunday 2-2:30. 5 tables filled in the main eating area, not sure of tables in other areas. Our waitress quickly introduced herself & took drink orders. 15 minutes later, water. No order. Had to flag her down to get our order placed. Crab bisque soup brought out. As always, this was delish. 15 min later, fried crab fingers (they were so over cooked the meat stuck to the inside thing). Never asked how they tasted, could see they werenât being eaten. Would only dash by & day, Iâll be back in a minute. You order should be right up. Two male waiters in that same section noticed all 4 empty glasses and took care of it. They were cleaning & stocking tables. Our waitress kept walking to the bar or the order system in the dining room and standing there talking. Others took care of her tables. Meal takes another 35 minutes. Husband got the pile of shrimp grilled, so rubbery. Son had the chicken tenders grilled - super dry! Another adult had jumbo fried shrimp, good. I had the Parmesan crusted snapper with cream sauce - outstanding. But everyoneâs greens were large & had huge pieces of stem in them. The cheese grits had NO salt in them whatsoever! She never even asked how everything was. Another server refilled drinks again. Weâve eaten at Edâs more times than I can count. Service & food have always been great! Maybe this was an bad day for some of the crew, not sure. We did notice a young petite female manager that near the end of our meal started questioning servers & getting them busy. It will definitely be a long time before we darken the doors again. After spending over $100 on lunch plus tip, left very disappointed. They did give us a military discount when we asked this time. Normally they tell us they donât do military discount. Hopefully this is a change in policy since they have two huge signs that say they support our military. We are sorry to hear about your recent experience here at Ed's. We strive to have better standards and the best service in the industry. Unfortunately that wasn't given to you as a valuable guest. If you could either call 251-625-1947 and ask for Matt (General Manager) or email him at: [email protected]. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.

Opening its first location in Gulf Shores in 1983, the Original Oyster House restaurant quickly expanded and opened its second restaurant two years later on the Mobile Causeway. It soon became known as a Gulf Coast favorite for panoramic waterfront sunset
We normally stop at another restaurant (Felixâs) when passing through Mobile, but it was suggested that we try the Oyster House... boy were the right! Everything we had was great. Gumbo was probably the best Iâve ever had and the oyster sampler was perfect for lunch. My wife had broiled flounder and red beans and rice and loved every morsel of it. We definitely have a new lunch stop on our way to Destin from Texas.

We were a large group and true to form a line of waiters came out with 2 plates each stood behind every other guest and with uniform precision placed the diners in front of us. Unforgettable! The food is excellent, the view across Mobile Bay is a treat and the ambiance of the restaurant makes it a must stop. As it turned out we closed the place up. It was late, we kept the workers from going home and they were as gracious as can be.The building itself is worth stopping to see. There is ample parking. One enters along a very long ramp.Hi Guest!Thank you for the 5-Star rating of our restaurant! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us!We hope to see you again very soon.Sincerely,Cooper Restaurants
