With a privileged view to the seafront promenade in Sitges you will find the restaurant Mare Nostrum with comfortable and elegant facilities whose decoration and setting is typically Mediterranean. Its private rooms are also the ideal setting for formal a
I've been going to Mare Nostrum for years, because it was always so good. Alas, our most recent meal here was a disappointing feed that left us thinking it's stopped being proud of its cooking and become just another seafront tourist money-spinner in Sitges. For starters, the prices have become absurdly high, and I immediately noticed that the quality of the complimentary bread and sliced sausage wasn't what it was. The terrace was way overlit, too, and aside from the owner's wife, who eagerly tries to up sell you on the catch of the day, which is generally good but over-priced, the staff are bored and robotic. In the past, the owner used to serve an occasional pour of hierbas, an herbal digestif, at the end of the meal, but even though we had a turbot for two, that didn't happen. So this restaurant is very much off it's game, and I'd be unlikely to return again when you can eat so much better at places like La Salseta.

La Taberna del Puerto is a classic among restaurants in Sitges. It's almost 40 years combining authentic, traditional Catalan and Mediterranean cuisine with modern and original touches. Since 1978, the Restaurant La Taberna del Puerto is a gastronomic lan
Eating in the port is always going to be expensive and a bit of a treat - we have twice eaten here and the fish is superb. Service is good re allergies. Lovely setting and excellent food (only had the fish but wouldnât choose anything else here as so good!). It so nice to know that you came back to our restaurant and that you had again a nice experience. We hope to continue welcoming you.La Tabernera

We have eaten here each time we visit Sitges. Itâs a place where shoppers and tourist walk past so itâs a bit of people watching kind of place but actually a nice restaurant. The opposite restaurant is always packed with tourists and customers as it seems more popular but hard to get a seat so this place is ideal. The food isnât bad either. They serve typical and traditional tapas and seafood so you can eat a bit of everything. House wine is good and price is reasonable. The portion could be just a little bigger I thought.

This is a stunning restaurant in a beautiful setting below the church in Mykonos. Food is good, but could be great. The biggest disappointment here is service - its kinda functional but not over friendly and you will be told when you can order - not before! We sat on terrace and the ambience of this was spoiled by a service area piled up with dirty dishes and trash - wasnt cleared. If service was slick and friendly, and dishes a little hotter when served - this place could be incredible. Little note - you PAY EXTRA to sit outside.

Went here recently with friends and was impressed overall. Food is traditional local food served very well. Service was mixed, at all times attenttive, if somewhat grumpy, depending on the waiter. The person who greeted and seated us, I guess the owner, was a very pleasant man. Most importantly, the food was delicious and all of our group of six are already looking for an opportunity to go back and try more of the menu offerings.

Our tour guide recommended that we try this hidden gem that the locals frequent and we are so glad we did. The service was excellent. And the food was exceptional at a very fair price. Starters also come with the meal and the portions are generous. The seafood paella is excellent but the Lobster with Black Rice is deliciously divine!!! Go off the main drag to find this gem and you wonât be disappointed. Enjoy!!! :0)

Reservation reccomended: it is full on weekends. We eat there now and then, anytime in the year, and it is always fantastic. My son's favourite, the biggest T-bone steak "a la llosa"(600g), which we shared this time, is unforgettable, for both the quality of the meat and the preparation on the stone, right on the table. Rices and fish are also excellent. As locals, we keep on going, with friends and for family meetings, and although not cheap, the food is always worth the money

We really liked this place, packed with locals, a great buzzing atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon with excellent home cooked, traditional Catalan dishes. The Iberian Ham was the best weâve had, the Gambas were stunning, the Calamari was fresh and the Patas were spicy and flavoursome. We then had the best steak ever served with home cooked potatoes and Padron Peppers. It was stunning and the portions huge, we took half of it home. We finished with a delightful homemade almond tart. Even the coffee we had was the best in town. Love the set menu which included wine. Really good value, we will be back.

If youâre a fish and seafood kind of person, look no further. Youâll keep coming back. Itâs our weekly place. Grilled hake, fish platter, Basque meats....everything! Youâll stop looking for new fish spots. Fresh catch, quality, Northern style fare! The best. Try avoiding peak hours as the service will be affected.
