We were staying with Corsican friends near Ajaccio, and took a day exploring the mountain villages, pausing in Propriano for a late lunch. The pleasant waterside in Propriano was lined with the usual "touristique" cafés, but our hosts headed straight for Chez Parenti which definitely looked to be a cut above the others. Our meal, all seafood, was excellent (we had the St Pierre, plainly roasted, as a main course) and the service could not be faulted although admittedly the place was quiet on a mid week lunchtime in early June. The restaurant was certainly not cheap, but well worthwhile.

We ate here on a Tuesday evening on the recommendation of our hotel. We had a lovely table outside overlooking the marina however we had a problem later in the evening and left with lots of insect bites. We were glad not to siit inside the restaurant as there was a very loud band performing outside at the front that spoilt the ambience. This is a fine dining restaurant so portions are typically small, the exception being the fish soup. We opted for all 3 courses at 52 euros pp (excl drinks) and the food was delicious, we felt it was good value for money. Our only disappointment were the staff that were uncommunicative throughout the whole evening. Leaving after paying our bill and giving a generous tip, not one member of staff could make eye contact or wish us well despite the restaurant not being busy.

We godt linguini with langustino and champagne + coffee and tiramisu. It was the best food we have had here in Corsica. And the staff were friendly and realy serviceminded! This is a must visit place!

RESTAURANT DE PLAGE, OUVERT DE FIN AVRIL Ã DEBUT OCTOBRE, SPECIALISE DANS LA PREPARATION AU BARBECUE DES POISSONS DE PECHE LOCALE
I guess this place has good seafood. The big portions looked really inviting but you should be ready to share them with someone. There were no smaller portions than a big dish of seafood for 35 euro/pers. It took us 1h30 to order two glasses of wine and enjoy our salads. We didn't ask for more as it was already too long to wait. I expected to have some little privilege in the service as we also spent the whole morning on the beach of the restaurant (15 euro each for the sun-chair) ordering drinks during the day. Come for lunch around noon or 13:00. We booked for 14:00 and the waiters were already quite tired to respect the timing.

Above the fact that the food is really amazing, the staff were so nice and checked table by table if everyone was doing well and whether we needed something. This bay is also amazing !

This restaurant deserves the good reviews it receives. It is brilliantly placed, staff excellent and friendly Chose the discovery menu at 65 euros Each small dish was beautifully presented and tasted sensational My husband didn't want this menu but as everyone on the table had to have it, otherwise it wasn't posisble. He relucantly agreed and even he cme away saying "that meal just blew you away - each course gave you a different taste experience; HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The setting is interesting, a purpose built dining hall in a garden setting with a separate bar and outside seating. We tried to book using there internet page, but this does not appear to be working. Ended up making a booking by phone. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by all of the staff and shown to a nice table within the timber building. The food is typically Corsican, well cooked and well presented. The car park is uneven but once on the building level, all of the paths and access points are wheelchair accessible. There appears to be one toilet, but that was new and wheelchair accessible. Overall an excellent experience.

A Pignata restaurant offer you a menu changing every days 4 starters 4 main courses and the fresh local fish plate and corsican lobster 4 sweets All our cuisine it's home made and come from local products and small local farmers
We had dinner here for our last night in Corsica and we absolutely loved it! The food was fresh and delicious. The view is also amazing. Everything is home made. We had seafood dishes - ceviche, sepia, st. Pierre and rougets. All highly recommended. The restaurant is on the expensive side though (14⬠for the entrees and 30⬠for the main courses) but well worth it.
