Porto Parus restaurant on the Barra de Tabatinga Beach less than an hour from Natal is misnamed an Inn or âPousadaâ. It is really a day tour restaurant paradise for those visiting Natal, Brazil. It is equipped and staffed to serve a large number of guests for lunch and to use the very distinctive reef and beach while you keep your own table in their pool area. There are showers and even a hammock to take a nap. I really recommend it for those that want to get out of Natal and see some spectacular beaches while enjoying great food. The trip along the road along the coast begins after Punta Negra and the Brazilian Space complex and winds in and out of the beach communities. These include Pirangi with its huge cashew tree. Further along, after the Buzios Beach with its kit surfing and crabs, the road climbs to the cliff at the start of the Tabatinga beach where Dolphens regularly play in the cove below an overlook bar. You then come to the interchange where one can return to the BR 101 Highway and Nizea Floresta or continue along the seaside to where you will find the entry to the restaurant. It is good to call ahead. The owner speaks very good English and can give you precise directions or find a car and driver to take you. Besides the excellent food and restful surroundings, the Innâs great attraction is the large, close to shore reef. It has wide steps where the water crashing on the other side foams down in cascades. Something that in my entire beach combing, I have never seen before. There is a nice lagoon, but be very careful. Part is very safe to swim, but there is an opening, the boca, that should be avoided. The locals will provide instructions on where and what to do to avoid this hole in the reef where rip tides will drag you under. The rest of the bay is a wonder to be seen, good for walking and gawking. There are other beach from bars where you can stop for a refreshment. Across the wide bay you can see the cliffs ofTibaão and Pipaâs beaches in the distance. You can reach them by ferry boat down that same road, but it is a very good distance and not all is paved. My one thought after observing people coming on Saturday and Sunday is to arrive early and stay through the late afternoon. If this means hiring a car or rental instead of getting a day tour from your hotel it is worth it. It appears that the tour groups come and leave in four hours, and the restaurant is worth a full day of relaxation.

Recomendamos!

As the name says, this is a restaurant where you can find good shrimps. We also asked fish and that was also good. The food arrived in less than 10 minutes! The only bad poind was the lemon juice that all of us found too acid.We found the price a bit high but acceptable. If I can I will come back for sure.

O atendimento Personal conquista a clientela.

Vale a parada no caminho.
