Really nice food, even though the waiting was pretty long and the food was cold I'd say it was the best I had during my 10 days in Santa Catalina. There maybe could be some more octopus in the octopus dish but the mixed seafood is really good and the chicken is a lot of food for the money.

One of few places open for food for lunch whilst we visited in December. We opted for the Fried chicken, large prawns in house sauce served with rice and black beans, 2 passion fruit juice, 1 coke and 1 large Balboa. $21.50 excluding tip.The sauce on the prawns was really good and the prawns were cooked very well. The passionfruit juice was nice and cold and a little bit sour... Very good. Local and rustic and good value.

My wife and I stopped in at hotel Iguanito on the recommendation of some local Santa Catalinans. The dinner, starting with an excellent Caipirinha cocktail and finishing with beef carpaccio and pasta was to die for. The neighboring table was talking about how great their beef dinner was. It was so good we booked a reservation for our Christmas dinner. The wonderful Spanish and French owners visited our table to make sure we enjoyed our experience.

Delicious Panamanian and Caribbean dishes with a variety of fresh seafood, soup part of our identity....BANNABA....
We went there for a dinner and to be honest, we didnât expect much, since food scene in Santa Catalina still waits to happen. However we were super surprised! There was Italian waitress working there and she did a fantastic job: multitasking, taking orders, preparing drinks and woking on up sale, all that with a smile and friendly attitude. We ordered steak plate and I ordered tuna tris, which was great. When I say great, it means perfectly done, soft in the middle and three different pieces. This is definitely something that I would really recommend.

The Pinguino Cafe is more than a Cafe. It's the best location in Santa Catalina for food, directly on the beach with a stunning view and cosy atmosphere. The owner is in the kitchen, bar and serving the food, everything from the menu is fresh and homemade. The fish and patacones were excellent. On busy days, it may take a while until you get your food, but if you're in Santa Catalina, at the beach and stressed about your time, you should reconsider your attitude anyways ;) . Just relax, sit back and listen to the sound of the waves enjoying a few cold beers before food is served.

Outdoor local place that you wouldnât think has the wonderful food it does. We had grouper with fruit (âHawaiian style). OMG. It was sooo good. The fish was in a coconut sauce of some type. The fruits and veggies with it were all great. Funky setting. Great food.

If you're looking for ceviche, this is the place. Served on a bed of fried shoestring potatoes and covered in a delicious sauce, the type of fish you have doesn't matter - it's all delicious. My partner and I shared one plate, and it was enough for us. Friendly service and laid-back atmosphere; highly recommended!

Pescao Restaurant is located on the ocean front inside of the Hotel Santa Catalina Panama property, facing the swimming pool and the ocean. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered. The word "Pescao", is Panamanian slang for "Fish". We specialize in top of
It was off-season but the welcome was exceptionally friendly with the manager coming to greet us as we walked down the driveway of the hotel (The restaurant is part of the Hotel Santa Catalina but feels like a separate entity). We ordered food and watched the surfers on the Punta break, directly in front of the hotel. The Mahi Mahi was really good, we had it with rice and rosemary potatoes. The Chocolate Brownie with ice cream afterwards was amazing too.One of the best when we catch! And I'm thinking to both: Mahi Mahi and Brownie !thanks for share your experience and more for visiting us!Looking forward to meet you again,Pietro and all the staff
