This Ivar's will not disappoint! The Fish and Chips were done to perfection, so were the Prawns. The quickness of our food being cooked and served was excellent and the Staff was very accommodating, we will be back for sure!

Where else can you get a Wild Boar Sloppy Joe, Elk Burger, Amazing Pizza with an authentic thin crust and 4 cheese mac and cheese, but Jacksons. We have been there three times in the last week. First time we started with their house salad with mixed greens, feta, and raspberry dressing and some other goodies. I had the blackened salmon and my wife had their plane jane burger. All were very tasty. We came back two days later craving the salad and both enjoyed their pizzas I had their Meatzah, and my Wife had their Margarita. Last night we tried their Mac and Cheese and the cheese burger. The special was pulled pork for dinner with their own home made BBQ sauce. Overall this has been a great place to visit, with a wide variety of people enjoying the service and food. Families with small children, to seasoned citizens to young couples on date night. The only complaint that I have is their wine selection is small and their drinks are expensive. More than 20.00 for a double vodka and cranberry, which is more than we pay at The Met in Seattle. But the food is excellent and a nice variety. My Wife has already called and asked if we can go back for Mac and Cheese tonight.

This is a large restaurant and the ambiance is lacking. Right downtown not too far from belle square. The food was good as was the service. Most plates ran about $40-55. Overall it was a pleasant meal but I did not believe it worth the price point. The others in the party enjoyed their meals. No missed steps but also nothing stood out.

This is a great Sushi establishment. Food is perfect and fresh. The service is outstanding and very attentive. Always ready to serve you with the one of the best sushi In the East side. The chef is often creating new options but the best part is again the freshness of the food been prepared before you. It is a must try.

We met friends there during Seattle Restaurant Week for our first visit. Everything ordered was prepared very well and the service was excellent. Even extra anchovies were given when requested for the Caesar salad! The server gave good advice when asked about the items on the menu, as well.

Food was very good, and quick. Portions are sized appropriately, as opposed to the massive plates some restaurants serve. Service was prompt, with food coming out quickly and perfectly timed. The one big negative was seating tables of two next to a loud group of about 20, which destroyed any ambiance the restaurant might have had. I would not return unless I was certain the noise level would be significantly lower than last nights experience.

We have been going to this particular location for the past several years. In fact, it is one of our go-to restaurants when friends and family are visiting. So it was no surprise that our daughter wanted to go there for her birthday dinner. We have always gone there for the food - local, healthy and good portions. The quality has always been great. The calamari appetizer is one of our favorites. However, it was a far from pleasant experience this time. Their kids meal comes with a bowl of fruit. When the fruits arrived, we found that one of the grapes had white fuzzy mold all over it. We asked the server for another bowl explaining that this bowl had mold. It got really weird after that. The server examined it carefully (at our table) and then took the bowl over to the manager who inspected it further. The rest of our food came out....and eventually another bowl of fruit. The server apologized and said that they had opened a new bag of grapes. I hope that was indeed the case. What was surprising was that we did see the manager a few times - he brought food over to the next table. But not once did he stop by to apologize. Come on - mold in a kid's meal is pretty unacceptable at any eating place. The bill came and there were no surprises. We paid the full price and our server made sure to not hang around the table too much. Not even the customary "how was everything?". When we were leaving, I told the hostess about the disappointing service - while I understand that the mold was not intentional, the least the manager could have done was stop by the table and apologize. She offered to get us a coupon for a free appetizer for the next time. I told her that based on our experience, there would be no next time!!There are lots of great eating places in Issaquah. One with moldy food and an unapologetic manager can be easily avoided.

JaK's Grill

Our specialty is steak! We buy only corn fed, Nebraska raised beef. The finest beef available anywhere. We then either dry or wet age our beef, depending on the cut, for a minimum of 28 days to ensure that famous flavor and tenderness found only at JaK's.

I just had a free dinner at Jak’s Grill in Issaquah. Why? Because I was ignored. And I mean completely… Ignored. At first the service was great, and then my waitress disappeared. And I’m talking… Vanished Without A Trace. I was sitting at the bar and a male waiter seemed to take over the clients she had been serving, including a couple sitting next to me. The male waiter was extremely attentive to this couple, even showing them videos of his new doggie, which I watched too, catching his eye. But after that he never looked at me again, even when I tried to get his attention. I waited and waited and waited, and finally got up to use the restroom, thinking that when they saw my finished dishes and no tab, they would wake up. But wake up they did not. And I walked out. I guess I should feel like I scored a big one, but then, as a 60-something-year-old woman, I feel insignificant and unnoticed.

We drove from Seattle to see Snoqualmie Falls and stopped here for lunch. It was a Saturday, so they were also serving brunch. Glad we found this place as we were unfamiliar with the area. We got lucky and highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Several of us had trout and it was very good. We got in just before it got really crowded. Service was good and food was very good.

Came in for Happy Hour. The appetizer was delicious and reasonably-priced at $11 during Happy Hour. There a 3% service charge. Not sure why-emailed restaurant afterwards but 3 days no reply. I don't know this is new for Issaquah. I have not seen this anyway else yet. I know Seattle puts these extra fees-that is why I don't go to Seattle often nor patronize restaurants there. Good service should be rewarded and should not be automatic because some some restaurants and bars have bad service and bad food.
