I don't like wraps. What's wrong with home made bread? Wraps are sometimes gummy, not dry as the Lord intended. Any way that's the only way they do steak sandwiches and the description looked so good , that's what I ordered. Can you believe they have 3 kinds of wraps? I chose the whole wheat since I was not sure about tomato bread or whatever. Man, it was just super, like their regular steaks and soups and salads. Best restaurant in town for most foods. Bob Ross

This business is now closed and has been sold to a new owner and will be opening soon with a new name and food
This turned out to be a little gem. Small but clean with white tablecloths which gave it a nice feel. I knew I wasn't dining at Jackie's but instead was looking for a small, quick place to get a good meal. The waitress was fun -- joking and kidding with us and with the table behind us. Once nice little touch was a cheese spread with crackers for starters (at no charge!). The salad was what I was hoping for: not "bagged" lettuce thrown in a bowl, but a real, live fresh salad. I opted for fried shrimp and chose to "upgrade" my potato to the "house" twice baked. We even ordered dessert which was yummy. If you're looking for upscale, fine dining, don't go. If you're looking to take your family, eat a good meal in a nice little family restaurant at a good price, go. The only thing that could have been better was the wait time to get our check ... we noticed there is no cash register and our waitress adding the check up herself. We will return ...

We ate dinner three times while in town. First two experience for wonderful. We had sea food, was fresh, served fast. Bread was fresh, drinks cold and fast. Third time we ordered the prime rib on the waitress recommendation. The meat was very fatty and did not have much taste.

Went for dinner on Saturday night. It was early so the restaurant wasn't too busy yet. Love the live music by saxophonist. They also have a piano and sometimes have live pianist.Bread basket appears to homemade. Buttered with parmesean sprinkled on top. Ordered filet mignon medium well temperature, came with 3 red potatoes. Not sure if it also came with a green, but wanted salad and charged $5 for a house salad. Steak was cooked medium well, seasoned and tender. $30 plus $5 for salad. Also got shrimp and grits. Plated beautifully in a bowl with bacon. Shrimp cooked to Perfection, grits in a nice firm cake with fresh mushrooms and herbs. An alfredo sauce covers a dish. $20Also got macaroni and cheese small plate. It's homemade with bechamel sauce and melted cheese on top in a skillet. It was okay but I would prefer a little bit of kick like some black pepper or maybe pepper jack cheese. Pasta shape was rigatoni, would prefer actual macaroni. Pasta shapes are smaller than rigatoni and easier to scoop up with a spoon. There's just a flavor layer missing to my palate. $11Two entrees, one small plate, and a soda was $75 including tax.

The food is great here unfortunately the energy in the restaurant is off. The hostess is on the night we went was disinterested and even though there were only 3 other couples in the restaurant she went to seat us in the worst seats near the kitchen door. Our waiter seemed to be in a rush to finish his night. We have gone to this restaurants many times over the years and this time will be our last.We are so sorry to hear that! We would love the opportunity to address your concerns directly and learn more about your visit to ensure our staff has the information needed to improve- please contact us directly at [email protected]. We do feel this is very unusual and not the norm, so we would love the opportunity to earn you back as a valued patron and ensure your concerns are addressed. Thank you for your time and feedback.

Stayed two (2) nights .Fantastic location right on the beachThe hotel is being renovated, the rooms are comfortable and clean, all rooms have spectacular views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The beach in front is first class.Good staffWe where there during peak season and had not pre booked hence the rate we paid was âfully priced â.The restaurant is terrible. The food ( only tried dinner) was the worst example of cheap nasty ingredients .The special steak ( meant to be premium rib eye) was tenderised thin cut gristle. The crab cakes were obviously frozen and generic mass produced .Summary Really good holiday accommodation.Terrible restaurant that lets the side download.

Stayed in hotel ( hotel accommodation was good). The restaurant is terrible!!!!âThe ingredients used are sub standard.Tried the special rib eye. Thin cut tenderised grizzly meat . Ordered the steak to be cooked rare , it arrived fully cooked - Terrible!!!!The crab cakes were obviously frozen and sub standard.Limited menu. These guys need to up their standards, holiday makers need to be offered better quality. Epic fail!!!!!
Very convenient marina, tho gas is a bit pricey in trade. Great place to rent a boat for the day. Good, fresh local sea food available together with convenience store items, fishing gear, and items for boaters.great place at this end of the island.

Fried Lobster is what my wife loves. We ate last night, I always get pasta Alfredo cause I'm not a big seafood guy. Their steak is ok,but a salad and Alfredo are much cheaper and filling. Beautiful views of the sound, nice folks, good bar, quite popular in the season. Try it if you are at the beach. Bob Ross
