It's no so big and they don't have so many tables and that is why the atmosphere is fantastic. The staff is wonderful. The food gorgeous. So far it's one of our michelin restaurants next to La Finca of Susy Diaz in Elche, Spain. We will come back

I'm rating this very good for what it is, a buffer restaurant. It doesn't quite compare to a normal restaurant. IT's a fairly new place behind a KFC and a MacD. Shares the same building as the Fuji chinese place which is listed on tripadvisor seperately.Hygiene seemed quite good and there was almost continuous restocking. Price does include free softdrinks and coffee. Alcoholic drinks you will have to fetch yourself and pay seperately. There's about 40 warm dishes on the buffet as well as cold meats and sea foods. You can get fish and meat grilled for you for which there can be quite a queue. Things I tasted where generally quite good except for the grilled lobsters and crayfish which were massively overcooked, tough and rubbery and the ensis clams which were really sandy. All in all not a bad concept, grab what you like, no waiting for orders, ideal if you're on a budget or with a group including children.

Restaurant Le Barrage in Alblasserdam is located on the beautiful location on the dam overlooking the River Alblas. You are most welcome for a dinner, drinks or private dining experience. We stand for pure craftsmanship and sincere friendly service, makin
Good service and a very nice interior. The food is good to as well, and portions are of decent size. The restaurant's interior really caters to a long lazy lunch, or some drinks at a nice summer evening, as the terrace looks over the water and the cocktail list is quite long. Really nice experience.Dear Gerry_W_Reisenberger,It is an honor that such an experienced Tripadvisor user is giving us great feedback and compliments. Thank you very much. I am looking forward to welcoming you back in the near future.Kind regards,Chaim Uvero BezemerGeneral Manager Le Barrage
The service is ok and the food here is good, a decent plate filled with fresh food, presented beautifully! The sphere is ok too, easy to have a large company for drinks and bites.

When visiting Holland , the windmills of Kinderdijk are a must see. This can be combined with a visit of the architectural wonders of rotterdam. What many visitors do not know is that there is a hidden surprise near this.It is the restaurant "De wachter" in Alblasserdam. In Holland well known from the restaurant guide "Lekker". The name of that guide says it all. The food in De Wachter is really Lekker or very fine. I live very near Alblasserdam bu only recently discovered this restaurant.Great place with warm and friendly staff. Open kitchen and you can watch the kitchen crew creating your finest dish. we had a perfect evening. Just took the menu and combined that with the staffs choice of wine.we will certainly be back!get there by the "waterbus" or fast ferr\y. Or just grab a cab. It is worth every penny!

We enjoyed a dinner here that was delicious, Michelin star worthy. Lost track but around 8-9 courses with tasty and beautiful looking dishes, using flowers and herbs. The restaurant is run by a young, very hardworking couple who make you feel very welcome. Recently redecorated the place with nice furniture.

Great food for a fair price. The setup is a bit old fashioned and crowded but we had a very nice mail with the kids. Plenty of choices for the non fish fans or Veggies like me ;-) and also for the kids. We liked nr. 29, 31, 38, 61, 63, 90, 91 and 94 ;-) Free parking in front of the door!Dear Sir/Madam,Thank you for your review. I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed your dinner! I hope to welcome you again.Kind regards,Ben Vorsteveld

Restaurant with big terrace and spectaculair view on the rivers. Open 7 days a week from 09:30 till 23:00 Breakfast Lunch Brunch High tea Dinner Seafood Grill Drinks Party Private room Free parking and accessible by waterbus.
Lovely place, great view. Need some improvement on the food.We had fish & chips, the fish batter was soo thick that it almost look like oliebollen. Not crispy, too thick too soggy. Calamari as well. However I saw alot of people having club sandwiches and salad and portion looks really generous and yummy too. Would go back again. Hope they can improve on the batter.

I had not too much time. Just wanted to have a quick but not too quick dinner. I was pleasantly surprised with gentle and speedy service. Especially if you have an appointment later on you donât want your dinner in the last 15 minutes. Quality of food is great. Everything nicely prepared. Not too hot, not too cold, not too raw, not overcooked. Exactly right !!! In the end I had time to write this review rather than speeding to my appointment!
