We had one night in Rafina after landing to Athens airport and the next morning to continue our travel by ferry to the islands from Rafina. We got recommendation of thisrestaurant by the owner of our airbnb-host. It was our first meal after a year away from Greece and we ordered what sounded good for us after long time and we kind of liked it, But only to get us feeded and nutritioned, not to be grumpy and to be able to sleep and continue early morning travel. The food was kind of Ok but nothing special. We had tsatsiki, chicken souvlaki, oven baked potatoes with some pork meat and cheese, house red dry wine. Price was Ok But I would not go back if not necessary.

Traditional Greek family Fish Tavern Since 1955. We always offers fresh fish, traditional Greek cuisine recipes and homemade dishes, created always with the best and freshest local products everyday. Upon arrival at Maridas traditional seafood restaurant,
We decided to visit Marida after reading TA reviews and not disappoint. We had steamed mussels, octopus, calamari, fried vegetables some local beer and uzo. All were perfect. We are at Athens for couple of more days and we will visit again before our departure .

I own a summer house in Rafina and I have explored around quite a lot. This quite simply serves the most quality food in Rafina for two reasons. The owners are excellent cooks and make fresh and very tasty traditional Greek dishes of the day (ask the waiter what's on today!). Second, they serve very fresh fish being right next to two fishmongers. All their dishes I have tried are very tasty and made of fresh ingedients - this is why is has been our favourite.

Have eaten here many times over the years and given great reviews but not this time!Ordered grilled octopus but received heated pickled octopus, horrible! When I complained I was told the octopus had run out so they substituted it . They accepted they should have told me but I got the impression they thought I wouldnât notice. Very sad, I felt conned. They did not hesitate to take it off the bill without me asking but it spoilt our meal.

Visited venue based on previous recommendation with folks and our guest from abroad . The location ideal on the front of the port .The dishes ordered were very quite tasty . We savored the shrimp - good size - pasta and fresh grilled sardines. Our waiter was extremely late in clearing our table . The plates piled up . Upon insisting to attend to us clear our table and bring the bill , he did so . And once requested to bring the ice cream treat as he did with other tables he replied upon bringing to the host that he was not deserving it . We were all appalled at his reply . Very unprofessional. We paid the bill and much disappointment left the venue . We will not return . It was not the food - which by the way we liked it - but the service which ruined it .

Once again we chose Seirenes. As usual Mr. Didas welcomed us . After a month of travelling the islands we finished with a perfect grilled fish meal. Courgettes, boiled potatoes and an unknown green leaf veg. Pleasant house white wine all at a good price. Fair to say the best grilled fish of this holiday. Of course weâll return.

The food was just âOKâ to downright âDISAPPOINTINGâ.(1) Octopus was like a cross between burnt leather and rubbery plastic. The manager (30-something with eyeglasses) was sitting at a nearby table surfing his phone the whole time. When I interrupted him to ask for a replacement, he spoke to me in English like I was a tourist (he saw my non-Greek looking wife and assumed incorrectly). He told me this is the way it is done in Greece. I responded IN GREEK that I have had Oktopodi (octopus) hundreds of times from my grandmothers, father, family and cooked myself. This batch was âoffâ. He shrugged his shoulders like âToo bad.â and walked away.(2) Shrimp and Rice Casserole (large, family-style platter) VERY DISAPPOINTING. The rice was undercooked. The flavors fell limp on the palate. The shrimp were cooked well but the sauce lacked any depth of flavor or âpopâ. Just an âeh.â at best.(3) Fried Gavros (anchovies) and Fried Marides (smelts)These were tasty. Fresh, nice flavor, breaded well.(4) Horta (boiled greens)Very small portion for the price.(5) Basket of bread was grilled to the point of being dried out âcrispsâOverall, there are many OTHER IPSAROTAVERNAS which are more worthy. I would skip this one and go either, closer to the pier where the ferries are boarding or further south there is a very nice stand-alone restaurant close to the shore. We ordered a whole table of food. The staff was good enough BUT the âmanagerâ guy seemed like he couldnât care less unless it was something on his phone as he sat in the center of the veranda dining area. He should have just replaced the plate as a legitimate goodwill gesture. I HAVE A HOUSE IN NEARBY PALLINI, (so,...Iâm sort of a local when I go back to Greece).. I WILL NEVER BE GOING TO THIS PLACE AGAIN.

Fish Tavern Galini is a restaurant since 1965. It is a family Greek Tavern in Port of Rafina . The aim is to combining the fresh with good quality. The hygiene is also one of our priorities ! The satisfaction of our customers is our satisfaction.
This is a very fine restaurant recommended by a Greek friend who really knows his food. I came here 20 years ago with my family and now again in May of 2019 with my wife. All my fond memories remain, charming location with views of the harbor, a selection of seafood and other traditional Greek fare, and a welcoming and friendly staff who understands how to make you feel comfortable and enjoy their delicious food. We counted three fish markets in the immediate area so the fish here is really fresh. We loved this place and believe you would to.Thank you very much for your time to write a review for Galini on Tripadvisor! We are happy that you liked your meal! Hope to see you soon!

We stopped for lunch while waiting for our ferry and what a treat! The service was friendly but efficient, and most importantly the food was incredible, each dish more impressive than the last. I would heartily recommend them to any looking for an absolute treat in Rafina.

The family owned fish-restaurant âRementzoâ managed since 2002 to take a spot in the preference of the locals, as well as the visitors of our beautyfull city Artemida (Loutsa), near the Athens Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos). We continue to welcome friend
Beachfront dining, good food and service don't always go together, however, here they do! The view is unending. We had an absolutely delicious fresh salad to have with our dinner, was the best salad we've enjoyed in ages. Everything was delicious and the service was so friendly.
