I donât like writing a negative review and it was a real surprise to find that our recent visit here was met with poor staff service. We arrived around 7pm for drinks and it was a bit windy so sought a sheltered spot on the beach side, where the views are excellent. We waited a while for service and although my beer was OK, the gin and tonic we ordered was undrinkable. We couldnât identify whether it was the tonic, the gin, the glass or the ice - maybe a combination of all. Anyway while we were enjoying the view the staff started to close all the glass curtains, making us feel as it we were being ushered out. This was not the case as other customers were arriving and intending to eat. As I say I donât like poor reviews and have written several good ones for here in the past. Sadly this visit was poor and we didnât dine on this visit.

A new concept of Beach Club in Cala Sardina, Torreguadiaro, a semi virgin beach in an idyllic setting, which may be considered the best and most beautiful beach in the area, only 3 minutes from Sotogrande. A space to relax, listen to good music, eat, drin
The actual restaurant and the area are splendid and the owners have made an effort to create a lovely space for daytime or evening dining, with spectacular views towards North Africa and Gibraltar. However, the food doesn't live up to the stylishness of this chiringuito. We had a family lunch and a dinner for two - both meals were quite average (we had seafood paella for lunch, but honestly, although it had a seafood taste, there was VERY little seafood in the rice). Having said all this, the owner and the staff are delightful and I would love to give a better rating - they just need to improve the kitchen and we would be happy to return!

We visit Sabi every year and love the area. We walk through Castillo every morning as part of our fight the flab regime and decided to meander down to Anka Juanito after good reviews on here.It started well, nice seats on the terrace, a mix of Mussels, Rosada Fish, Sardines and a large salad washed down with a cold pint and a glass of red. Food was nice, so were the drinks. So where did it all go wrong? Well around 10pm a large Spanish family arrived for dinner and the waiting staff disappeared. I would love to tell you what dessert was like, or the coffee or carajillo but can't as we never even had the chance to order them, never mind taste them. After waiting half an hour plus to get the bill we left vowing never to return, indeed a more dishonest person would have got up and left, I doubt they would have noticed.I suppose the bill was only 27 euros, but spoiled by poor service.Pity as I love to support the local businesses of the area.

Stopped here for an evening drink several times when on holiday recently. Really nice bar/restaurant with lovely view of the bay. Not expensive and food looked good.Family owned and really friendly. Parking right beside in beach park.

Disappointing service! We arrived and took a seat nobody around so my husband went in to order. The couple who we took to be the owners were having a domestic! My husband asked if he could order only to be told âno more orders we have just had a large telephone orderâ! We went elsewhere. No customer service here whatsoever, wouldnât return.

We came here to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. On arrival, we were given an aperitif, but it was way too strong to drink. I had salmon for main which was overcooked but edible. My husband ordered sirloin steak - well done. When The steak came, it was red in the middle and the waiter (I think on of the owners) agreed it was medium. He offered another steak but after the wait my husband didn't want it. My husband told the waiter he didn't want to oay for his main. He said ok so we paid for our drinks and my meal. We were very disappointed not only with the meal but the service. Once we complained about the steak no waiters came near our table.

We have been coming to Duquesa for a few years but itâs the first time we have tried this excellent restaurant, WOW! Wish we had found it sooner. The food was first class, so good we returned twice more. Friendly service and great view across the port, also as itâs inside you donât get the interruption from the hawkers. The salt fish was wonderful. Definitely our new favourite

Knowing the area from its early days, we were astound how much has been changed. We went for our well known favourite fish restaurant that apparently had been sold and transformed into a steak house. So we came at Delfines that really is worth as its excellent replacement. More sophisticated, with fabulous fish food quality and friendly service. - Highly recommendedQueremos agradecerle su opinión y que haya confiado en nosotros para pasar un agradable almuerzo. Nos alegra saber que disfrutó de su visita y esperamos poder recibirle de nuevo ¡Un saludo!
Where to eat Belgian food in Puerto de la Duquesa: The Best Restaurants and Bars
We loved everything about our experience here. The service was top notch including our wine discussion. We ended up ordering gazpacho, fish soup, rocket (arugula) salad and mussels. Each dish was very delicious, but the fish soup and mussels were standouts. This is a new restaurant in a location which previously housed a French restaurant. I think it's a wonderful improvement.
