We'v been here for 1 week in july 2013. We got the recomandation from our apt. Borgio degli Olivi with reduced price for sunbeds and sun umbrela. The beach as the water was top clean (only water was a bit too cold, but refreshing). But the biggest surprise for us was the restaurant. They offer a quite large number of dishes mostly seafood (fried, with pasta...), salads and great deserts. Owner as the staff are very nice and pleasent, speak qute good english, they can also describe the dishes. We joined every day a lunch here and our kids loved it too. Try the fried mixture of seafood anf vegetables or pastawith fresh tuna. The lemon sorbet or cheese cake with fruits or nutela were great finale of our lunch or dinner. You will love it. If you are near it's worth to go there. You will be not dissapointed for sure. And I do not eat the seafood normaly, but here I couldn't stop to eat it. Thank you for beeing your guests for this nice week. "Meglio il Voglio" is the motto of the restaruant and it is as it is written on the t-shirts of the staff. If you dont speak italian put it in to the translator, then you will undestand. See you there next year, maybe?

If you like your fish look no further!. Set in the beautiful Corso Vittorio Emanuele, in the heart of the pedestrian area in front of the medieval Town hall, this cosy restaurant serves delicious dishes of local cuisine. Whether it's a gorgeous "Seafood Linguine" or a velvety "Frittura Mista" , alongside with a crispy white wine of Val di Cornia, you'll end up spending a memorable evening in Piombino looking forward to come back..

We regularly visit this area of Italy and think this restaurant is a real 'find'. The food is fabulous and changes regularly. The couple who own and run the restaurant are extremely friendly and helpful with what to choose. Nice touches included free coffees with lovely home made mouthwatering, melting biscuits and limoncello or grappa. The aircon is welcome when its humid, and made a wonderful change from so many of the beach restaurants that feel a little like seafront fast food places, where you are rushed to eat so they can fit in someone else after you. At Tiramestoli the table is yours for the evening so you can relax and savour every lovely mouthful. It is excellent value for money as well, including the wines where they have a good range but not too pricey.

Tuscan inn with an authentic traditional cuisine. Only fish from Elba and Argentario sea. Pasta , bread and homemade cakes . Typical wines of the Val di Cornia and Bolgheri .
This is the little surprise everyone hopes to discover.Fortunately, our friends knew of this excellent seafood-centric ristorante in this tiny ancient borgo/castello. Looking from the ramparts one can see Corsica! There is an Etruscan museum there too.The Antonio and Maria(she does the cooking) who run this spot have serious chops from experience at a Michelin 2star in Roma to a highly regarded eatery in Fiuggi. This is their way of coasting to retirement! The menu is built upon whatever comes in each morning at the fishing port nearby. Pasta and dolci(OMG!) are delicioso and "fatta in casa". Fresh grilled sardines, frittura mista di paranza, and fresh grilled monkfish were highlights. The wine list is carefully curated and offers many wines to discover. In all this place is a great value! This is definitely on my revisit list. In Summer there are apartments for rent. Can't imagine a livelier place for a restful and scrumptious stay!

Short menu food a little pretentious and overpriced .The waiters were friendly but insincere .Had seafood pasta which was alright I suppose .There are better places in town lots of them .

We rented an AirBnB in area and our host recommended this quaint small restaurant. Great pick! We had a pasta and a "melt in your mouth" pork tenderloin; both were excellent. We are here for at least two weeks, and we have a reservation for returning. Suspect we will find many more occasions to return. It is very cozy, good service and the pricing is reasonable.

Restaurant with a spectacular view of the sea facing the island of Elba. Every day fresh fish, fresh homemade pasta and homemade cakes
We did start with a romantic aperitif at sunset on the terrace overlooking the Elba island across the strait of Piombino and we carry on into the evening together with a group of friends inside the restaurant. Despite lots of full tables, we were served quickly different seafood starters very tasty and a perfect âfritturaâ. Staff was very present polite and well mannered. On a perfect location with a very handy big car park. Definitely few steps above other restaurants in town .Hi Franco V , Thank so much See u soon Best regards

At Torre di Baratti Bio Resort you can find the higher expression of the desire to rediscover a reality in wich humans and nature are in harmony. A biodynamic farm, working together with a high-end restaurant to provide you with absolute satisfaction. The
beautiful location in an agricultural land above the Gulf of Baratti with breathtaking views and olive trees and vines in nice presence. nice restaurant in marine style and rustic at the same time (without tablecloth in full post service). very kind and professional service. the menu of meat and fish reduced but with seasonal products and good quality. our dishes were good but the egg very bland (I ate the same dishes in many high-end restaurants). even desserts are good and well presented ... in general an nice evening in good atmosphere ... Tuscany rural and sea style and delicious food !
