The view over the central Patitiri harbour is great and certainly a reward for the climb up and take your time to gaze at the goings on below. Our dinner on a lovely evening was a bit of disappointment given the high praise friends had given us. Currently under new management a touch of Italy should have been noticeable, but we did not encounter it.The big chunk of Greek feta cheese from the oven as an appetizer was barely warm and the surrounding vegetables were raw and as such OK, but did not feel as the right match. Neither were the tiny bits of peach that did add color but not quite taste to the ceviche like pieces of fresh fish as the second appetizer. The main course was a seafood risotto with calamares and octopus and tiny slices of lime ( nice twist ), but the risotto was a bit too soggy. For wine the choice is very limited indeed: from the same producer either a red, rose or white wine. Here too however it is a pity that the red is served at room temperature - at 24 C that is way too warm

This restaurant on the harbour front of Patitiri is busy with a good ambience. However we ordered lamb in oven and goat in oven which when served tasted and appeared exactly the same palid cooked flesh. In fact both were pork, with stringy chewy meat. However the briam ( oven roasted veg with tomatoes) was super as was the mixed salad.

We are one atmosferic restaurant on the beach rousoum gialos of alonissos. We have traditional greek tastes with modern style! Come to try fresh lobster from the island of alonissos and the excellent meat from magnesia!
We tried this place one lunchtime, as it had good reviews, and had bread & dip which comprised of bread, hummous & olives. Have you tried dipping bread into olives? We also had aubergine & feta salad which was spoiled with loads of peppers, salmon tabouleh salad which was ok.The bill came to more than our evening meals and didn't seem value for money.ÎγαÏηÏΠκÏÏιε.. Efficient service on our second evening on Alonnisos. A tuna salad followed by pork souvlaki, washed down with a Mythos. All decent, pork slightly tough and maybe overdone. Complimentary watermelon slices served after the main course. Not a bad place. â¬46 similar meals for two.

Lunch on a very hot day, but the temperature at Karaki was pleasant. This is a genuinely traditional place, frequented by locals. The owner and waitress welcomed us and showed us the food of the day.We ordered one moussaka, one rice with mussels, one cuttlefish cooked with spinach. Then bread, 1 still water, 1 soda water and a Nescafé. At the end of the meal they offered us some water melon. Here you find very good traditional Greek food in a nice atmosphere.Excellent value for moneyWe spent ⬠32,50

Called in here for a lunchtime meal, concocted our own meze from the menu, fava, courgette fritters(easier to write than the Greek name),cucumber and tomato salad and a prawn saganaki. Exquisite food and best of all a proper Greek craft beer as opposed to the more common lager. The beer is called âhoppy sealâ it is well worth a try

This Italian / Greek restaurant is located in Votsi a very nice small harbor, close to Patitiri but much more charming. The location of the restaurant in front of the sea was perfect, A good service and the the plates were refined and different from the other âtavernasâ of the island. If you want a table in front of the sea, you must book before coming.

Mediterranean and Greek cuisine open all day. Coffee and drinks along the waterfront of Patitiri. Fine wine with platters of aged cheeses to nibble. Beer with platters of assorted sausages. Excellent Greek and international breakfast. Select steaks and on
Weâve been to Alonissos quite a few times. We were last here 4 years ago and this place didnât exist. What a find! We were welcomed by very friendly staff. The menu had a great choice of fresh fish. Having had seafood the night before, hubby and I chose something from the meat range. We started with homemade tzatziki and toasted garlic bread. We chose chicken cooked in cheese and red peppers and pork stuffed with plums in a very rich sauce. This was accompanied by a beetroot and potato mash. We told the waiter that we were going to swap our dishes half way. He suggested that he put them in the middle of the table and we were given plates to share. Both were absolutely delicious. We had this with half a carafe of chilled white wine served in âproperâ wine glasses. Highly recommended. Weâll definitely be back!
