Abba stands above. Everything we ordered was creatively prepared and cooked perfectly. The service was attentive yet not overbearing. Despite the quality of the restaurant, dress is casual. The wine list is well selected. For sure, there are less expensive places in the area that serve humongous portions of mediocre food, and if that's what you value, then Abba is not for you. But if you want a memorable and satisfying dining experience, eat here.

This place Rocks! The food's delicious, the service excellent and the decor is the classiest around. The bar was absolutely hopping the night we were there and it just seemed like everyone in the restaurant was having a great time. Servers are attentive without being overbearing and our entire party pretty much licked our plates clean. There's plenty of parking on both sides of BNI. It's the most fun restaurant in East Orleans and we'll be back next summer!

Captain Cass is a quaint eatery at Rock Harbor in Orleans. The small restaurant has seating around a u-shape counter and several table seatings. A table in front of the front bay window is a perfect table-for-2 at sunset. The menu is standard New-England but has some surprises. The clam chowder is a broth-based soup (no cream) with potatoes and good amount of chopped clams (but can be hotter). It is a good respite from the many undistinguished cream-based chowders on the Cape. The she-crab soup is more like a traditional cream-based chowder with crab meat, herbs, and sherry. Following the crab theme, the deviled crab is an excellent appetizer with 3 blue-crab shells stuffed and baked with crab meat, breadcrumb, and, I think, chopped clams. It is, as the menu describes, better than most "stuffies" quahog. A chowder and it can be enough for a meal. Fried seafood, oysters in particular, is very good. We should have tried the scallop as there was a pile of 100 freshly-shucked scallop shells in the shallow water behind the restaurant. Captain Cass is low-key, reasonably priced, and friendly. They do close early - but if you leave around closing time in the summer, you may just run into the best sunset ever!

The Yardarm Restaurant is a small place with a big imprint. In the last decades we've prided ourselves on being the go-to meeting spot for locals in Orleans. On any given day, you'll find townsfolk like fisherman, physicians and plumbers all sharing stori
Love this place for lunch so went for dinner Thursday night Prime Rib. Two couples, our waitress came and seemed angry. I asked about a beer they had on draft and she said, "I have NO idea!, I don't drink beer!!!" OK. My friend asked about getting the prime rib rare, and she said, " We have 3 cooking", and never answered his question. Our dinners a came and the prime rib was so tough I couldn't eat mine, and the taste was terrible. Our waitress had a bad attitude, just mean. Won't ever go back at night for dinner there.Thank you for your review. I am so sorry that your group had this experience. It is not acceptable to us and has and will continue to be addressed with all our staff. Normally, I would suggest that you let your Server know if your meal is not to your liking so that we may correct it; however, it is obvious that this was not possible this particular night. I am sorry that I was not there at the time. Our primary goal is to have happy/satisfied customers so I hope that you will give us another chance by coming back in for either lunch or dinner. I hope to meet you personally.

Best Family Restaurant Since 1994 - Cape Cod Life Voted Best Lobster Roll - Last 2 Years Call us for your Private Parties in our second floor private venue which overlooks Town Cove. Ask about our Surf Boat Lounge
The food was really good. The service was really good too. However they should offer more substitutes for food options. Also, when you order the whole lobster they should make it easier to get the meat out (make more cuts so it breaks easier and able to grab the meat better). It was also overpriced but I think thatâs the way seafood is.

Chef Ted Mahoney has developed an extensive, eclectic menu to suit the tastes of discerning diners, with an emphasis on fresh, local seafood.
September is here and the crowds are off the Cape so it is a great time to eat out. We had a great meal and the service was great. What I also liked was there wasnât a long wait. The prices could be a couple dollars less however it was worth it. I split a good salad and the warm bread was a treat.

We finally made it to this popular stop in Orleans and we werenât disappointed. Great menu; many very interesting and different choices, on top of a solid list of standard options and wood fired pizza. We tried a cod dinner over risotto and the special surf and turf option: A delicious cod fish cake and a really special chicken sausage grinder with roasted peppers, caramelized onions, and blue cheese. Really, both were exceptional! We will absolutely return but all the stories were right. VERY crowded. Try to get there early and you will have a very enjoyable mid range experience.

Our group of six friends met at Beacon for dinner ahead of a chamber music festival concert. We'd never been before, but we were delighted. Everything we ordered from the limited menu was wonderful, especially the sole with a light curry sauce and grapes (sensational). Though full, the dining room was quiet enough that we could hear each other with ease. Our waitress was professional and helpful. We'll no doubt come back many times.

Celebrating our 30th anniversary, the historic 1840 Captain Linnell House is home to Cape Cod's most distinguished fine dining restaurant as well as an award winning Cape Cod wedding, rehearsal dinner, and corporate venue site. We are located in Orleans,
The building is a beautiful historic property with very attractive dining areas. It was not our first time here. Our waiter professional with good service. My husband chose the Prix fixe for $40.00âHis first course was the Linnell chowderâquite hearty and tasty with a hint of herbs that really made it special. His prime rib was large, tender with a pepper crust and was flavorful. My âscrodâ in parchment while quite tasty did not seem to have true Maine crabmeat. It tasted more like Langostino and was orange! Maine crabmeat is not orange! It was also a bit on the salty side. I let it go, but was surprised not to taste and see Maine crabmeat as described in the menu. Our drinks were good but definitely on the expensive side at $13 and $15.!! Clementine cake was good. Overall, a good and mostly satisfying meal but not an âAâ.
