We ended up dining here on three occasions, twice for pizza and once of the menu. My wife had the scampi gnocchi and I had the plate of the sea both were sensational. The times we had pizzas here as well they were great. The atmosphere is very special the restaurant is in a beautiful garden setting very relaxing. The service was great as well, while none of the staff could speak English we were all ( 10 of us 7 adults and 3 kids ) able to order food in our poor broken Italian .. The house wine was quite nice and we all felt exceptional value.. All in all a great place.. Note they don't do pizzas for lunch only evening menu

The restaurant, that has just been refurbished, is bright and cozy; but the thing that impressed me the most is the passion that the whole Annarumma family shows throughout the service.Giovanni and Giulia on the floor are knowledgeable about the food and wine they serve and make every guest feel special; and chef Lorenzo in the kitchen is able to cook that kind of comfort food that whoever visits Italy wishes to try at least once.Cacio e pepe and carbonara pasta are to die for!If you are travelling around this area, don't miss the Locanda, you won't regret it.

This is not the easiest restaurant to find, but I had heard so much about it that I persisted. Situated on the bank of the river with its own fish ponds, the river trout is fresh and subtly prepared. There is a decent assortment of wines at reasonable prices. The fish carpaccio delighted all. We sampled each other's pasta and each was content. The tiramisù, more custard than cake, was the best that I had had in some time. We arrived early, before the restaurant had in fact opened. As we sat on the veranda, the staff brought us antipasto and prosecco.

Robistrot has a wonderfully versatile menu, with large a range of seafood and typical plates from the country, deliciously prepared with good ingredients.Despite ordering four different dishes, the serving was timed so everything came simultaneouslyThe atmosphere is nice and relaxed and there is a great selection of good wines.

Really friendly, welcoming restaurant, tucked away in beautiful little San Vito Romano. There was no menu, but the owner/chef made sure we had plenty to choose from and recommended us the absolutely fantastic Buffalo Ricotta and Prosciutto crudo. After a few starters we ordered three pizza's, but weren't able to finish them all, as our eyes were bigger than our tummies. The owner/chef provided us with a 'doggy-bag' (pizzabox) for us to take home. The next morning we had an early trek to Pompeii and devoured the pizza in the car and it was still quality! After the meal in the restaurant we were given Limoncello in small cups, which, just like the main crockery, was all hand-made.Plenty of space inside for large groups/families without taking over the whole place and still seating available for smaller groups.
