Reviews on Seafood food in Ogunquit, Maine, United States. The motto of the resort town of Ogunquit, Maine, is "beautiful place by the sea," and with three and a half miles of sheltered white sand beaches, the residents are definitely not lying. Take a walk along the Marginal Way, a path that winds along rocky cliffs overlooking the ocean, or explore the town center on the local public transit - an old fashioned trolley. With art galleries, fresh seafood, and the summer stock Ogunquit Playhouse, the town of Ogunquit is a favorite vacation destination.

Established in 1931 the Ogunquit Lobster Pound has been proudly serving the best Maine lobster for generations. Choose your own live lobster to be boiled in seawater in the traditional Maine fashion or try one of many offerings from our full menu. Now in
We went here for the lobsters. First we told waiter the size of lobster. Then lobster was taken from tank, weighed, placed in mesh bag, labeled and placed in large caldron to boil. I got a 2 pound lobster which was good, but not as tender as I would have liked.

Large, busy restaurant. We did wait five minutes for a menu, and half an hour for salad. But it was okay. We were out to relax. I had swordfish piccata. Excellent and different. Never had breaded swordfish before. Sides were very good, too. We'll be going every visit to the beach, now.

Lively, boisterous environment; Elegant and diverse dining menu. Complimentary Entertainment in Piano Bar & Lounge. 7 Nights a week. American style food, burgers, Salads with your choice of Proteins, Appetizers or all entrees.
We had a splendid evening eating good food (I loved the bang bang shrimp appetiser) and listening to Mr Dionne tinkling the ivories. In fact we got more than we bargained for when disco diva Ms Kuzma entertained us with a rousing set from the 70s. She was accompanied by the super talented cast of Kinky Boots. Not sure you can promise that every night but you might get lucky. Oh and the bar has a great choice of cocktails and fraught beers. Great fun. Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. You most certainly hit our Disco Sunday evening on a special night. We were so fortunate to have the so many talented performers join us. We love our Stars from the Ogunquit Playhouse. CheersJohnny

One of the best restaurants in Ogunquit. The staff are very accomodating and the menu has something for everyone. Drinks and food are excellent and the presentation is very pleasing. Took myself off to Ogunquit for a "me" day with a plan to also treat myself to a lobster roll at lunchtime. So glad I checked the reviews and picked Footbridge. I wanted casual dining but fresh and tasty and this place did not disappoint. The lobster was super fresh with just the right amount of mayo and the warm bun was perfect. I will definitely go back.

Walked by many times, but never stopped for a meal before now. To seat outside for Labor Day weekend lunch be ready to wait for 20-25 min. They seat you outside and bring your drinks while waiting. Beautiful view from the porch overlooking Ogunquit sound. The salad was great and scallops as well, but not a clam chowder. They also should have brought the knifes to the table... It also pricey. Overall is good for a quick lunch with a view.

Enjoy lobster, steamers, lobster rolls, chowder and a whole lot more in a friendly, casual atmosphere. Live lobsters caught by local lobstermen wait in tanks filled with ocean water coming straight from the cove. Choose your size and two sides. For all th
Quite simply the best lobster Iâve ever had! The 2 lobster special is not to be missed. It doesnât even need the melted butter. Even the corn in the cob was outstanding. All for $24! Do Not Miss This. Itâs a great rustic spot in Perkins Cove.

This is one of 2 restaurants we must eat at when we visit Ogunquit. La Orillia and Northern Union. La Orillia has delicious tapas. Everything we've tried has been excellent. Some things aren't quite what you expect when you ordered, but they end up being even better. The beef carpaccio is like no other I've tried and it's amazing. Every dish his us scraping the last bits of sauce off the plate. Wash it all down with some sangria.

LIVE, COOKED OR PACKED FOR TRAVEL. OGUNQUITS ONLY HUSBAND AND WIFE LOBSTER SERVICE. 2 People work here. Since 1995. We do not quote prices or give out pricing over the phone. Market price is posted daily. Prices are subject to change.
This place is for anyone whose focus is on lobster and not the frills one can get in a more upscale restaurant. The lobsters are so fresh and sweet that using the drawn butter is unnecessary. We ate at their picnic tables and were beyond happy. The steamed clams were excellent as well! I don't think we'll be able to eat lobster again til we return, because I can't imagine anything else measuring up to what Beach Plum Lobster Farm has to offer.
