Although the food was really very good, a less than complete explanation of substitutions led to a $20 up-charge on each of three meals. Subsequent exchanges with the restaurant did not result in a satisfactory resolution. We will not go there again.The food was really very good. Thank you. Your server says that he said "for an upcharge, we can substitute an 8 oz lobster tail in place of the crab cake. All are trained to do so. It was 20$ more for the lobster tail that cost $11.00 each. I am not sure why anyone would think that is is the same price as a 4 oz crab cake.

My wife and I took a chance and stopped at NorthEast Seafood Kitchen and we are glad we did. Itâs in Ocean View, a couple of miles from Bethany Beach. If youâre staying in Bethany, its well worth the drive. The food and service were excellent. Good size wine list for a beach restaurant. Rita was our server and took great care of us. We had the calamari as an appetizer. Outstanding!! For our entrees my wife had a Caesar salad and I had the softshell crabs. Both were excellent. Softshell crabs are often smothered in batter and then deep fried. These were lightly dusted and seasoned and then flash fried that let the crab flavor come through. Definitely will be visiting again.Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We are so happy that you and your wife decided to dine in with us and are so glad to hear you enjoyed everything! Big Fish saw an opportunity to take over the former Magnolia's in Ocean View, just north and a tad west of Bethany. We had a great meal, drinks were excellent and the service was good. I had heard that the first 2 years Big Fish was open there were problems. I would have never known given our experience here last week. The first floor and bar is very busy (GREAT BAR!). We had dinner upstairs where it was quieter and fewer kids. I would go back there tomorrow if I was still at the beach. Definitely recommend, especially to those that didn't like it the first time.Thank you for taking the time to write your review! We enjoyed our lunch at this airy white walled, wide plank floored, industrial lighted relatively new seafood place. It is well located on Rte 1 right before the Rehoboth Beach turnoff. Excellent service from River. My only complaint is that it is a bit pricey for the portion size.Thank you for the review! We appreciate your kind words on our atmosphere and service! Our party of four enjoyed a very good Mother's Day Dinner. Starters were very good mussels and rave reviews for the cream of crab soup. Entrees were halibut(small portion), excellent scallops and their famous salmon dish which was quite good. The key lime pie and chocolate mousse were very good, the chocolate cheesecake was outstanding. Nice setting and friendly staff with an attitude to please. Peter, our waiter, made several trips to the kitchen to get the correct answers to questions we had.Prices were fair and commensurate with the quality of the food. Will definitely return!Ilovedeliciousfood,We thank you for taking the time to let others know of your dining experience here with great detail. The ambiance, food and service met our expectations for a great dining experience on our last night in Bethany Beach. Our party sampled their specialty cream of crab soup, crab cakes and the Ahi Tuna Salad. All were very very good. The crab offerings were loaded with tasty crab and the Ahi Tuna was excellent albeit a bit overdone (for my preference) ... but still tasted great particularly with their special dressing.Definitely plan to make this restaurant a staple on our future visits to the area!

We saw this restaurant on our drive south on the Coastal Highway it looked like a good place so our way north we stopped for lunch. The Seafood Bisque soup was excellent. Their were a lot of people eating here but we didnât have to wait for a table, although when we left people were waiting.

The restaurant offers two seatings, and managed to accommodate our group of twenty. They also accommodated those that wanted to finish quickly for another activity. Childrenâs menu offered quite a variety. I had the conch fritters for an appetizer and they were delicious! I think we had one of each and every one voiced their satisfaction. Same with the main courses. I have the black sesame encrusted tuna with Asian noodles which was delicious. Family member had the crab cakes and said they were delicious. Menu variety was exceptional, and we were too full for dessert. We would definitely visit again.

DiFebo's is consistently patronized by a "higher end" clientele. The place was packed on our most recent visit, and the improvement in food quality and waitstaff professionalism (kudos to Yoana G, an outstanding and engaging waitress) may be the secrets. The menu has expanded, but the prices have not and are in-line with similar at-the-beach eateries. Overall, a delightful meal and a pleasantly positive experience. Figure $40-50/head for dinner. We're fans!

I never would have noticed this place in a little strip mall if the owner of my rental unit hadnât recommended it, and Iâm so glad she did. Nothing fancy hereâjust fantastic food. Do not miss the shrimp and gritsâperfectly cooked shrimp, enough chorizo to give it some heat, and grits to make it all rich and creamy. Be sure to get some extra focaccia to sop up the broth!So glad you came to see us! The best food is always hidden away, and we're so glad you found us. We appreciate the kind words about the quality of the food, as well as the preparation that we work so hard to perfect. We'll pass the compliments along to our Chef!
