Have been eating at rays for 30 years, usually very good, tonight the waiter was inattentive, got our order incorrect, spent 15 minutes talking to customers while looking up websites on his cellphone while we waited nearly 40 minutes for our appetizers to arrive and it wasnât busy at 415pm...then dinner finally came and my daughters grilled cheese was burnt I couldnât believe the kitchen would put this out or a water would serve it, but my 4yo daughter was so hungry at this point and with the appetizer mixup already we just scraped the burned part off so she could have something to eat. My onion rings were cold on my plate and so were my husbands lobster tails. We left as quick as we could decided better to go then complain further. Sigh...

Arrived 6:45pm and happy to get table by window. Server immediately asked for drink order. Did not have white wine selection. Ordered house margarita. Basically flavored juice. Ordered fish and chips and burger for dinner. Food arrived 8:00pm. Many people complaining all around us. Food was edible but nothing great. Bill arrives with the two glasses of wine listed that we didnât get. Had to ask server to delete. Will not return.

Really great lobster roll. Just warm lobster, slathered in butter and put into a toasted bun. I think they are the best lobster rolls anywhere. We come down from Vermont just to go to this place.

Finally tried it out since the new ownership took over and waiting a while for the kinks I heard about to be worked out. Sorry to say that from the service to the food and even the obnoxious âregulars â seated at the bar it was all a horrible experience. Will not recommend or be returning.

Over the years the restaurant has evolved to become what it is today including our 360 degree view from the top deck bar! Fresh seafood, choice steaks, hand-made sandwiches, quality salad choices and childrenâs menus are served daily. Our family-oriented
We selected this restaurant based on the reviews. The location and decks facing the ocean are lovely and make this restaurant. The fried calamari platter was plentiful but the size of the small calamari rings was disappointing. The baked scallops were excellent but the veggies served with it were cold and looked like they had been re-warmed.

Been here before and had good experience, came back this year and wasn't disappointed. Good food without sticker shock I've had elsewhere; the twin lobster special allowed me and the wife to each have one, and the lobster mac was a big enough portion to split that as well. Everybody in the group happy, and the bill didn't give me indigestion either.

We ate here for lunch today. On Wednesday's any large signature pizza is $12.99 so that's a great deal. It easily would have fed 4. The crust was chewy with a crunch, almost sour dough, had plenty of cheese, basil and tomato. The haddock pieces were large and lightly battered which didn't overpower the fish. Plenty for left overs. Very clean, friendly staff, plenty of parking. We'll eat here again. This is not on the beach so the prices are very reasonable but its worth heading inland for. It's only about 10 minutes from Wallis Sands/Rye/Hampton.

My husband and I went to Ron's to celebrate a wedding anniversary. I was so looking forward to a nice evening. The waiter we had was very attentive. My husband ordered the Pork Chop and I ordered the Clam plate. My meal was way over fried and the clams chewy. I am amazed that they would even serve it to me. My husband said his meal was delicious. Not wanting to spoil the evening for my husband I didn't complain about my meal but couldn't eat much of it. In hindsight I wished I had complained. We spent well over $100.00 in total. That is a Anniversary I'll never forget.

. I was staying at the hotel where this restaurant is located. It seems they love to use salt to honor their name but when it too salty, I hate it! The fish they serve me was well cook but the over saltedtaste stop me to eat it after few bites. The also overcooked my wife scallops. The service was really good. I am so sorry you did not enjoy your meals! We do not add salt to our fish entrees. The chef hopes that the fresh taste of the sea will be enough for any palette. We apologize if your meal tasted extra salty on your visit! I am glad you enjoyed the service, and hope that you will come see us again the next time you are in the area!
