We ate 2 dinners here during our event visit. Great service and even better food. Our most favorite item is the burrata toasts with tomato jelly. The scallop dinner was excellent as was the lobster roll. The bar is generous with their pours and the service was prompt. We liked the casual feel of this tavern and will definitely return.

Quality service, multiple offerings at reasonable prices for this fantastic eatery. My family and friends have been here several times. In fact we had our sonâs rehearsal dinner here. The staff , quality of the food and the atmosphere are outstanding. This is no run of the mill tourist trap. When the owner Bob is present he can often been seen working as hard his staff. I love the Filet Mignon cooked medium well. It was as good or better than any of the more pricey steak houses. Nice bar atmosphere frequented by locals as well as tourists.

Our younger daughter was diagnosed with a gluten allergy this year and was THRILLED to be able to enjoy fried shrimp at your restaurant without any stomach issues afterward! The food was delicious, and she was very happy. Thank you!

Captain's Table is one of the last family owned restaurants on Chatham Main Street, serving fresh, local seafood and an array of specialties within a classic New England style menu. We offer a casual dining experience by our attentive staff, including ser
Wandering about the town lunchtime called. It was a cool but sunny day and we wanted to have something simple and be outside. The Captainâs Table filled the bill. Nice outside deck, lots of sunshine but a heater to stave off the colder air. Friendly staff were prompt and thoughtful. One warm lobster roll and one fish sandwich, two cups of coffee. It was exactly what we wanted. Nice place.

This restaurant changed hands in April and it shows. I wouldnât say the food was bad but it certainly wasnât what it used to be. Entire staff seems to have changed and prices are higher. A little disappointed as this was always a favorite restaurant.

The Bistro on Main and Chatham Raw Bar is the latest incarnation of local restaurateur, Steve Vining, located in the heart of Chathamâs Main Street. Since 1991, we continue to bring together fresh food, fine wine, and good friends. We pride ourselves on u
We ate here for our first night in Chatham. There were plenty of GF options, and the bunless lobster roll was excellent! I also started with the clams which were delicious. The service was great. I would return here without hesitation.

New England dining meets premier restaurant at STARS, located in the Historic Chatham Bars Inn. Custom chandeliers, stately columns and magnificent picture windows overlooking the Atlantic Oceanâs Pleasant Bay create an ambiance that's both upscale and in
Terrific foods, unsurpassed view (if you get close to the windows) but oh my, slow, not very attentive service. Lots of protein and carb choices. Smoked fish (3), great hash, best bacon and many egg choices all make for a wonderful meal.CBI is heavy on the look and generally backs it up with the food but cannot seem to solve the chronically substandard service. Service to buffet diners is pretty simple, pour coffee, tea, ask if you want juice then refill and clear promptly. We cleared our own table, asked repeatedly for refills to coffee and had to wave for this limited level of service. How does a top resort continually fail to deliver even average service?Still a mystery to me and the absence of restaurant management responses to these âpoor serviceâ reviews is baffling.

Our children back home had contacted the restaurant to arrange a few surprises for our sixty-fifth anniversary, and the consistently friendly and efficient staff outdid themselves to make the evening special. The wine was fine, the flowers that graced the table were dazzling, and they gave us a couple of small gifts, including two macarons that reminded of of our days in Paris. They also found a box for the flowers and offered to carry them to the car after dinner.Oh, yes, lest we forget the ash(!) covered cod was spectacular.Dear lhs76;Thank you for your review and for selecting twenty-eight Atlantic for your sixty-fifth anniversary celebration. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your dining experience and that the staff made your meal extra special. Our sincere appreciation for sharing your thoughts on TripAdvisor and we hope to welcome you back again soon.Best regards,Josette C. WillisDirector of Quality Assurance

We entertained some local friends with whom we were staying. It took a little while to choose our meals and we then ordered as volumes appeared large, each couple shared at least one course. My wife and I chose the salmon with king prawns. The meal was tasty but towards the end of eating this dish, I realised that we had not had the prawns at all. I told the waiter when he collected the plates and he said that he would talk to the kitchen. When the bill arrived, we noticed that the dish had been charged at full price even though it had not been the full portion. We were not happy to stay and argue, so I paid a 10% service charge instead of the expected twenty per cent. This rather spoilt what could have been an excellent evening out to dinner.

Been passing this place for ten years and finally decided to try it. We were not impressed. The menu had a little of everything on it, and we tried a variety of different things. None of them were very good. The interior is dark and dated, and service was very average. There are too many good places around to go here, sorry.Sorry you were not impressed. We always wish for our customers to have a great experience, and most of them do. If you would like to contact me further about what meals you had, I would be happy to discuss any issues that came up. [email protected] Have a good summer!
