Very nice sushi bar. Excellent selection of different sushi. Nice interior and friendly staff. Only problem is that the whole ordering process is done from a tablet and that obviously doesn't work properly as we were constantly receiving someone else's orders. Still our orders (the correct ones) arrived quite fast so it wasn't a huge deal. I would suggest though to fix this. Maybe to someone else it would ve very annoying.

Like much of the Netherlands, the food here can be what is termed "Indonesian-Chinese"...but stick to the normal Chinese menu (predominantly Cantonese style) and you will be OK. The food was pretty good, if a little mild for those used to good Asian food. The restaurant is huge, and has a 1980s "Chinese Dynasty" feel to it. Good service. If you need some spice in Nieuwegein and can't be bothered to make it out to Utrecht, go here. It's not an obvious choice - but it will do the job.Note that they don't serve tap water (expensive bottled water only), and that if you ask for an extra chilli on the side for added spice, you will be charged EURO 3.

Bijzonder restaurant waar het echt het gevoel geeft alsof je bij iemand thuis eet. Super lekker eten waar veel aandacht aan wordt besteed en het iedereen naar z'n zin maakt. Echt geweldig! De moeite waard!
Very nice diner in a great looking reataurant. Former garage, turned into a beautiful restaurant. We ate upstairs where it was very hot... (summer). You may want to make sure you eat outide or downstairs when it's hot. Food was good, not great. Service was great.

have Enjoyed a great evening with the love of my life. The staff is extremely friendly and this place is unique. The 6 course menu Michelin Star level!Although the start was slowly and delayed caused by some big groups arriving late we had a great culinary experience. One tip; do something for your wardrobes, coats are hanging on floor in Toilet area

I stayed here for one night on a business trip and ate in the hotel restaurant.I had schnitzel with a cheese sauce. It was pretty good and a very big portion.... Accompanied by wedges, fries, cabbage and a side salad.nearly too much food! This cost Euro 17.50 which is very good value for a hotel. There were plenty of other choices at similar price and a more expensive steak menu. Service was efficient and friendly. This is not really a restaurant you would travel to due to the location of the hotel but if you are staying here you will get a very nice meal without having to travel anywhere.

On average the level of restaurant experience in the Netherlands is often below what I call average. Food variations limited, house wine to be avoided ( Although a house wine should represent the house, so maybe it often does ;-) ) Will's is OK. Decent food dishes with some suggestions, some wines choices per glass, which was also OK. The service was good, but slow. So forget about a fast business lunch, but we that was not the reason for being in town. So, No direct rush. Parking is paid at the shopping mall parking.

For an fix price of 14.50 euro you can eat here an 3 course meal. The quality is amazing for this price. Don't get me wrong I had beter, but not for 14.50. The portions are on the small size but you can order an extra appetiser for 4 euro extra. The place is very busy and the tables are close packed. The staff is young but friendly and doing there best. Nice place if you have an small budget.

An unpromising location (where it's easy to park) until you see the view behind the building. An unpromising entrance, giving way to a splendid wine cellar style dining room. A promising menu that should give you the confidence to order the "specialty" of the house: the surprise menu. Just tell them how many courses you want, sit back and relax. If you have dietary restrictions, it's even better: they actually listen and come up with surprisingly good variations or alternatives. Each dish is on the small side. Close your eyes, taste as well as you can, combine different parts of the dish. Unless you are a really big eater not only will you have had enough, you will have enjoyed your dessert as much as your first dish. Multiply that by generous portions of innovation and creativity. Unusual, but excellent combinations of ingredients make your meal as adventurous as a South Pole cruise. Set your prejudices aside and let the chef take you by the hand into a land you could not have dreamt up yourself. They passed my own simplistic test of attention to detail with flying colours: excellent bread and very good coffee. The negatives are really piddling. The acoustics are bizarre so the place can seem loud. If there is a wine chart I didn't see it and I sensed a strange aversion against French wines. These points are more than offset by an attentive, understanding and charming service. One day, Michelin will find them.

Kantien is a not so typical Dutch restaurant, which is situated in a former local government office. Local food, dutch craft beers, cocktails, brunch, bites, dinner a big terrace and meeting rooms.
Enjoyed a light 3 course Sunday lunch here on the large terrace of this unusual restaurant. An intriguing medley of various tomatoes done in different ways as a starter. Poached cod as a main course and frangipan tart with ice cream as a dessert. All very tasty, innovative and well presented. Good Sauvignon Blanc to go with it and plenty of free water. Very friendly and attentive waitress. And...free ample parking opposite. Where do you find that in Utrecht!
