This is a nice place with a cosy environment and excellent food. Did a 6-course dinner arrange by italian friends and the food came excellent prepared and very nicely displayed too. Small portions but after 5 dishes - you'll be full. The deserts goes down no matter how full you are. Very good value too! We got mainly fish based dishes and a lot of squid. Tasted wonderful. Innovative too I would say. The wine is the only drawback but on the other hand - it was included in the price so it was probably not the most expensive wine they had. Highly recommended!

Buongiorno , vi chiediamo la rimozione delle foto relative alla struttura e arredi del ristorante a seguito della ristrutturazione dello stesso. grazie
A relatively small but very charming family-owned restaurant Taverna di Bacco is definitely a must-visit place in the seaside town of Nettuno! Delicious combinations of carefully chosen ingredients will make you fall even more deeply in love with genuine Italian cuisine. Very professional, friendly and welcoming staff will guide you through the variety of dishes and seasonal specialties. Simple, yet elegant interior sets a perfect background to the highly enjoyable dining experience. Everything I tried turned out to be a delish, from freshly-baked various types of bread to seafood salad with tropical fruit and walnuts or home-made pasta drizzled with white truffle, not to mention the mouthwatering desserts â¦! Definitely worth a try!

We made an afternoon trip by train from Rome to Nettuno only to visit this restaurant. It was well worth the trip! Very pleasant ambiance, warmly furnished with family photos (the family has owned the restaurant since 1896), friendly staff, excellent meal. I don't know exactly what we had, since we asked the owner to just bring us whatever he thought we would like, but I know there was an amazing polenta antipasto, a divine dish with octopus. Everything was perfectly prepared and delectable. The best meal I had in Italy!

I screened many restaurants in Nettuno on Tripadvisor and several had many negative comments especially about over- priced and tasteless food. I chose this restaurant as it had only one negative remark and I knew I could check if it was true by opening the door to the restaurant as it said that it smelled fried fish inside. I can confirm that it does not smell fried fish. I came here two evenings at a row as I was happy after my first meal and didnât find any other alternatives in Nettuno on Tripadvisor. It is a family run restaurant and service is friendly and casual. It is a fish restaurant and I wanted to eat fish. I therefore cannot recall if they had any meat. The antipasti consist of a tasting (âdegustazioneâ) of ten small plates of different fish antipasti. My favorites were: marinated seabass with coriander grains, calamari and corn, tuna tartare (but would be better without pecorino). Personally, I was less fond of the antipasti with warm salmon. After the antipasti I one night had fritura of fish and the other night sea food pasta. They took over the management of the restaurant early July and had some things on their to-do list to complete when I came there in the middle of August. They then collected feedback from guests on the menu. They also needed to create a homepage, which has now been done. They had to make a wine list. The wine selection was the only negative point when I visited. Since the antipasti are full of strong tastes I would go for aromatic white wines of a certain quality e.g. Vermentino from Liguria or Sardinia, or Vernaccia. In a restaurant in Olbia with similar cuisine they have e.g. Karmis from Vini Contini (Vernaccia&Vermentino). Other options would be Italian white wines e.g. from Sicily from grapes such as Inzolia, Cataratto, Viognier and Grillo. I suggested to the owner to have some short written information in the wine list with names of the grapes as well as a short tasting note. It would be good to have some half bottles. From the reviews since my visit it is difficult to say if the wine list done and if the selection improved.

We ordered the menu of "raw and cooked" fish. Started out with 6 small appetizers of raw fish - lemon marinaded (unfortunately also with lemon pits), then some cooked small dishes of fish filets on spinach, fish casserole and fried anchovies, then pasta with tomato and mussels. We were asked if we wanted more pasta and said we would rather have some more fried anchovies... we got fried calamari and schrimps which was billed EUR 12 seperately...we didn't realize that the 'all you can eat' concept means that you get to start over again on the menu and not 'jump' into specific dishes. They were nice though and removed the 12 EUR as they didn't really explain from beginning how it works. Ended with a super desert - tiramisu and something else with crispy flat brittle cake layered with mascarpone creme. Great house white wine - 1 l for only 6 EUR that went very well with the fish. I'd recommend this place to anyone as the dishes were really tasty and thought through

Family restaurant by the port in Nettuno serving whatever happens to be fresh and good from the fishermen's catch that day. Simple, fresh and cooked to order - fried fish selection, and grilled catch of the day stand out - and served with courtesy. Thoroughly recommended for a lazy lunch

Ristorante di pesce sito nel borgo medievale di Nettuno aperto tutto lâanno piatti della tradizione con qualche rivisatazione
Ate lunch there and my group loved it so much, we went back for dinner. Pizza- terrific!! I had a shrimp and octopus salad that was killer. Several ordered caprese and said it was delicious. Pasta dishes were all well prepared and very tasty. Service? Owner came to the table several times to make all was good. Wine list was not large but ample- especially for lunch. Good place and easy walk from most of the central Nettuno action.

Trattoria "Da Francesco e Teresa": the quality of over 40 years of experience. Daily arrivals of local fish, seafruits and much more.
So small you may walk pass it, but well worth getting the address right. Only nine (9) tables. Moderately priced, no menu but 4 choices in each category. If you order the appetizer, you may not be able to eat much more, so plan to divide. Fresh fish and the calamari fritti was excellent! I ordered the pasta with swordfish. The pecorino on top made the sauce a little too salty for my taste but the pasta was good. Nice place for lunch. Plan to return for the pasta al vongole and special dessert with basil. Bathroom available, clean.Francesco is the host and Teresa is in the kitchen.
