Worth looking up if you are in the area, even worth having a day out here specially.Hidden down an alleyway in the historic centre, you will find this young dynamic team who deserve every encouragement.Try the "viaggio" mixed seafood antipasto, imaginative, fresh from the sea, truly a gastronomic journey. The bill was a bit high, but considering the quality and quantity we received, I wouldn't complain. You get what you pay for And that is the top. They also offered some dishes free.Well worth a detour, it's easy by train from Rome.

Last summer my family traveled to Italy and stayed with good friends in Genzano. Our last night we ate at Tigellino restaurant and what a treat it was! A perfect ending to a wonderful trip. The food was fabulous, the service was outstanding, and everyone connected to the restaurant was extremely friendly. It certainly made our visit a memorable one!

A delightful location, excellent fare and prompt and attentive service. A risotto ai fungi porcini to die for! The wine proposed by the maitre was a fabulous local Shiraz. We were even treated to some lovely complimentary home made delicacies. Definitely highly recommended. Thank you very much.Pietro.

Restaurant with typical Mediterranean cuisine, seafood specialties and raw food. Only fresh products with Gragnano pasta, typical national wines.
Had a super dinner together with the family.Ristorante Fortuna is different from most of the other restaurants in Nemi, more creative.Owner Fabio comes from Napoli and has brought the local specialities with him, mainly involving fresh fish.Hospitality was borderless despite we had also two small kids with us.Check it out!

La Foresta was founded in 1966 by our father Alessandro Ferri. Through his creativity and ideas and us, his children, Antonella and Gino, we established a wonderful location for exclusive, elegant events. The restaurant La Foresta is situated in the Caste
Arrived in the locality on a Monday which is when many places are closed. This was suggested by our hotel as a provider of simple Italian food. Not much simple about it. One waiter spoke excellent English and was charm personified. Not cheap, but good quality food and wine. (The wine is produced by the hotel.) You need a car to get to it, though as taxis are pricey.

Wonderful location and awesome courses. A real sardinian surprise in the middle of the Roman hills. You must try the kind politeness of Nicola, the chef. Amazing.

This for sure the best Restaurant in Genzano di roma. The consilition was very good. We had fish based apetizers. It was absolutely fresh and excellent marinated. The main dishes - risotto and linguine - met 100% our expectation. The service has been on the upper level. This Location is fully recommendable.

We visited here with a group of 47 with a fantastic menu negotiated in advance with the proprietor. We had meat/fish option for people to chose from. Amazing seafood starter which came with an additional bowl of mussels, next a seafood linguine ,followed by a risotto with scampi. Feeling full by this point with main course to come! Great selection of grilled fish, giant prawns and stuffed crayfish all well flavoured and prepared. Meat eaters tucked into good antipasti, wild boar risotto and pasta ragú and very generous mixed grill of lamb, spicy sausage, succulent pork and kebabs. An enormous meal topped off with fruit salad with Nemi strawberries and coffee. This all for an amazing price! Good theatre in the restaurant with food finished on an open fire. Good, efficient service and every table filled with locals. If in the area, this is the place to go!

The restaurant "Il Castagnone" was born in 1972 in the crowning of Gabbarini Family's passion for the Italian cooking. The historical knowledge of o traditional Italian cuisine's elements, brings on the table of Castagnone, on demand, antique flavor soups
Kindness, good service, wine knowledgeable waiters... and foremost fresh outstanding food.(dried meats are brilliant). I only suggest you check first for the events they are hosting... then they are busy. Other days... good and a very good venue for a business lunches.
