We had a delightful dinner with friends at this roadhouse pizzeria. The place was packed with locals and travelers as it was during the World Cup playoffs. The service was good and the pizza was very good. I would recommend it.

Restaurant Borgo Antico Art with taste. Where chefs' prowess, territory and architectural beauty blend. The "Borgo Antico" (the ancient village) is a small hamlet rich in flavours, which completes your sensorial experience at Villa Quaranta, fascinating y
Excellent food, great service, outdoor and indoor seating. great wine list! We ate there twice and it was all very good. The building in which it is situated is very interesting, part of the complex of the Villa owned by the Quaranta family. The small family Church is worth a visit, ask your waiter if it can be arranged.Dear Buz51,thank You for Your feedback, it is a pleasure for us to learn that Your experiences with us have been up to expectations. We are glad You appreciated our location and quality of our services and You had the chance to taste flavours and wines of our land! Our location is wide and bright. We have 3 dining rooms (one with conditioned air), a children's room and a large summer terrace. We prepare soy pizza, wholemeal pizza with natural dough and two types of gluten-free pizza. We like a traditional and local
We ate a couple of delicious pizzas here one evening, and were very happy with our choice. Our waiter was very friendly, and helped us translate the Italian-only menu. They have a wide range of pizza choices, as well as other Italian foods, but we were there for the pizza. The food and wine were both very good, and reasonably priced. The service was also good, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. We even bought a bottle of wine to take back to our hotel! While we were waiting to pay, we were offered a couple glasses of refreshing lemonade slushy, which really hit the spot.Eat here if you want an affordable and pleasant dining experience.I never want to leave Italy!

A small restaurant where you can taste typical dishes and wines of Valpolicella. And then you can taste the typical dishes of Mediterranean fish.
My wife and I were staying in Negrar and sightseeing the North of Italy. Met the owner outside our villa when he was walking his dog. When walking past the restaurant later that week we remembered and decided to call in for lunch. With the kids off snowboarding it was time enjoy some just us time.Lovely restaurant interior, we were well met and soon seated and after pleasantries we discussed lunch and the specials. The cuisine is more influenced by Southern Italy but there was local input as well, such as sweet red wine risotto. We had one of the most pleasant meals of our visit which i would put down to the food, the staff, and the lovely venue. The chef was pleased to talk to us about the food and what we thought and our only regret is that we didn't get a chance to visit again before the end of our stay.

Roadside pizzeria, with dubious looks from the outside, ample parking, the inside is decorated as a rustic kitchen, there are 3 menus, the pizzeria, the regular restaurant and the specials of the day. Pizza is good, I had home made pasta with clams and it was excellent, fast and just 10 euros. Amazing considering we were 100 miles from the ocean, and recently bad seafood experiences in seaside resorts in Croatia prove the point that in Italy it is difficult to eat bad, even at a modest pizzeria like this one.

We visited this lovely restaurant on the recommendation of our guide and had a superb afternoon. Ristorante Casale Spighetta is beautifully situated atop a hillside, just outside Verona, with incredible panoramic views. Chef Angelo Zantedeschi came out and personally described his menu which is comprised of fresh local foods. He offers traditional Italian fare influenced by his Middle Eastern culinary experience. We dined on the outside terrace, starting with a beautiful bread basket of warm rolls and grissini. I had a trio of local salami and cheese to start (easily was large enough to share), and then a perfectly prepared sea bass accentuated by fresh yellow mushrooms, while husband dined on gnocchi and a lovely, rich veal dish.We left the wine recommendation up to Chef Angelo and were rewarded with a delicious, and very reasonably priced Volpicella, from a local winery. Decadent chocolate truffles and a small glass of a local liqueur were a perfect end to the meal. We spent two+ hours at the restaurant, and could have spent the entire afternoon sipping wine and enjoying the view. It was definitely the culinary highlight of our trip to Italy.

We stopped at Ai Torcoli for lunch while touring Valpolicella and its wineries. The restaurant has a wonderful view of the countryside. Our server was friendly and spoke some English. The food and wine were very enjoyable. It was a great place to stop and take a break from the winding roads.

How very pleasing to find such a quality restaurant close by to your holiday villa!! We went here to eat two nights in a row!!! Staff are highly professional, friendly and helpful in relation to regional wine. The restaurant is part of the Vigna 800 wine making enterprise and offer a lovely range of their own and other wines. Dishes are very fresh, cleverly crafted based in tradition, generous and very tasty. We thought it all very good value and were pleased with all aspects of food, wine and service. Thank you Diego and team.
