great very abundant , all delicious and fresh. Many fresh and delicious fish plates. Shrimp and other mollusks, as well as fish stew, and Pasta with bongole and cozze.

Visited here twice during our holiday as we were staying a short walk away.... very unassuming from the outside but the welcome from the staff was great. Some staff spoke little English but the main waiter was great explaining menus and making recommendations. Very reasonably priced and lots of variety on the menu (good amount of veggie options)Mainly locals eating here but a must try if only for the desserts!!

Personnel is very kind and helpful, and even very good at selling their dishes. The suggested appetizer is the "taste everything", something like 8 or 10 very small samples of the available entrees, very good mix of vegetables, meats, and spices full of aroma. Main dishes are less attractive, prices are not cheap.

Pizzeria Nappino was absolutely simple and delicious. The locals love his restaurant, and we loved it too. We were staying at Castello del Trebbio, and their restaurant was being renovated, so our host recommended we go up the hill to Nappino's. We had pizza and penne arrabbiata. The pasta was the spiciest arrabbiata I've ever had. It was absolutely delicious! The pizza was in the top two pizzas we've ever had in the U.S. and Italy. We came back the following night for more penne and more pizza! I miss the food already!

I reserved for our anniversary, the dinner was speachless, quality of good, ambience, service, everything was on point and behind my expectations, also my wife that is not a good was extremely happy with everything:)) we had to come back with some friends to share the moment!!If you planning a trip to Florence you should reserve a table here, also if is out of town it's worthy !!

Great food, the menu is in Italian but our waiter explained everything perfectly and gave us some good recommendations. We got this restaurant tip via a friend from home (holland) and was worth walking 30minutes for! Great housewine too!

LOVED it! Read the reviews on this place and decided to make the 40 min drive for lunch with our group of 15. We were not disappointed!! The owner treated us like family and was so gracious and welcoming. And in addition to that, the food was so fresh and tasty! The owner brought out some lovely fresh bread and locally made meats & cheeses, then made us a few bowls of different pastas for the table (rabbit ragu, cream gnocchi with asparagus and pesto pasta). I was hungry. I saw this little place, and was suprised to find kabab beng offered. I was most pleasantly surpised when I was served delicious Shwarma instead! The owner calls it Kabab, because none of the locals heard of Shwarma.Thank you very much for taking the time to share your opinion with us! We really enjoyed choosing the fresh fish before they prepared them for our meal. Great local wines and service with a smile were a real treat. If you're close to Pontassieve, try it out! (Note that this restaurant is close to the train station.)
