I visited Helmond on a business trip with 2 colleagues and we chose to eat at De Waard because whilst the rest of the town was empty, this restaurant was full, by the end of the evening we knew why.On ordering the menu was in Dutch and a colleague was translating for me. Due to a translation glitch, I ordered a starter that I wouldn't normally (raw beef) and unfortunately I could not eat it. On seeing that I had not touched my starter the owner of the restaurant came over to make sure all was ok and I explained that it was my fault. I was taken aback when she offered to fetch me some soup instead, even though it was my fault for ordering something I couldn't eat. Throughout the meal, the staff came to check we were ok for drinks with a very friendly manner.I had a beef steak to for my main meal, and I have to say that it is the best meal I have had for a long time. I ordered the steak well done and it was cooked to perfection, with plenty of vegetables. A selection of cheese for desert and the staff went through what cheeses were on the plate a small but pleasant touch.I can not praise this restaurant enough for the service they provided and the standard of food they produced. I recommend this establishment thoroughly.

Pezzaz is an excellent place for a family dinner, big or small. The atmosphere is relaxed and animated, what we call "gezellig". The card offers a difficult-to-make choice of attractive food. The dishes are prepared in such a way that the character of the ingredients manifests nicely and purely. The staff is competent and very friendly. And ask for a wine advice: the combinations with the food are always great!

Warmly greeted on entering the restaurant which was very busy even at 6pm on a Sunday.Decided to try the Indonesian rijsttafel(rice table) and was really impressed with the quality and quantity of the food provided and at a price of â¬21.50 each, tremendous value! Starter of chicken soup arrived quickly after ordering and was lovely. The main course of 9 different dishes arrived in plenty of time. We had a carafe of the Rose wine which was excellent and great value at â¬9.The staff were really attentive and really knew what they were doing, great professional service. We watched other diners partaking in the chinese menu which looked just as delicious as the indonesian one! This is a top restaurant and one i would love to try again, even if it required a detour!

We went here for my girlfriends birthday. We were sitting in the kitchens table and therefore could see the preparation of the food. Itâs like a piece of art to see this happening. The taste of the food and the service were also amazing.

We had a three course group dinner in the room upstairs. Reception at the bar and the rest of the service was very friendly and warm. Each course was well explained on its ingredients and everything was served in a pretty good pace. Portions were just a little on the small side. It all tasted very well and had some interesting flavors and combinations.

Restaurant de Zwaan is by far my most favourit restaurant, simply because it is always good enjoying the food, drinks and hospitality. True attention is given to everything that is being served. Wether it lunch or dinner, it will be served in an appealing way and most important, it always tasts great. My absolute dinner favorite is the surprise menu. No matter how often I order this (and I do order it often..:-), it always offers new dishes, new flavours and tasts to discover and I find it always delicious. Asking the host (Bert) to find a matching wine never ever has disappointed me. If it was up to me I would award restaurant de Zwaan with a Michellin star (or two..:-)

In Michelin awarded restaurant De Lindehof you can enjoy a contemporary total concept: culinary tour de forces in a modern and hospitable ambiance.
Just had a fantastic dinner in de Lindehof with friends. Wonderful food amazing starters and just awesome service. We had the 6 course dinner which was simply grwat. How many different flavours can you add in one dish? The plates itself were small works of art served on wonderful porselain. The serving staff was very professional they just saw everything. The flow from the kitchen to the table was smooth....we never had to wait too long but we also didnt have the feeling the things were rushed. Great pace. If possible you should go here. Reservation might be necessary...we will be back for sure.

After watching a Dutch TV docusoap following several talented young people in the restaurant business, including Jermain de Rozario, I wanted to visit this place for quite some time. And finally, we had a good opportunity to do so and we loved it!We were welcomed by a very friendly and charming member of staff and seated at a perfect table for the six of us. We were given the menus and ordered our bottles of water and a bottle of Grüner Veltliner, which turned out not to be on the right temperature. The lady serving us apologized and explained they were having troubles with their cooling equipment. So she put the bottle on ice while at the same time offering a glass of (chilled) Viognier on the house to combine with our amuses. A bit sloppy but perfectly solved. The three amuses were an exciting start of what became a fantastic lunch, where our tastebuds were challenged by delicious food and spices. The three plates of food looked picture perfect. We kicked off with a tartare of Kingfish, which was brought by chef De Rozario himself, introducing himself to us personally, explaining the dish. What a great start! The main course was a perfectly cooked guinea fowl and this was followed by a refreshing fruity dessert. You can see the hand of the 'master' in his way of cooking and presentation (including himself), and both 'master' and 'student' are top of the bill. One word to rate this place: DIVINE!

Very good Japanese restaurant with a little Dutch whiff. Brilliant concept. If you make on time a reservation it's posible to sit on a table with view in the kitchen. The food is very good and the menu changes on time with new fresh products. The staff is well trained and very friendly/customer focused.
