in an authentic Ostreilcole farmer on the edge of the water, tasting our oysters production of and mussels cooked flame . Formula at will.
It's not a restaurant as such. You can go there for oysters and mussels degustation. But how amazing. You can eat as much as you want for the same price. And I've never eating fresher oysters and more delicious mussels. I struggled to stop myself. The location and the view from here are stunning. Cati and her colleague are two very lovely persons who enjoy what they do and put their heart at it. It was one of the best experiences in my life.

Bouzigues oysters are less known than their Britanny (Bretagne) sisters. Nevertheless there extremely tasty in their creamy outfits. This little restaurants along the roads is extremely well taken care of and attractive. This is a place for so fresh seafood with a wide choice all the day long. Care in service and advice. Excellent stop.

Le Bistrot was recommended to us by our hosts at Les Palmiers Restaurant and B&B. On the night we dined there overlooking the harbour, local boat owners were practising something we had not seen before, Water Jousting. It proved to be interesting dinner entertainment. As regards the meal, service was excellent, the food was very good, with an wide choice of wines and all at a reasonable price. I particularly enjoyed and strongly recommend the Trout Gravalax. We will return. Thanks for this incredible comment ! Thanks to Les Palmier too See you soon

The restaurant looks a bit average at first glance, but come inside (or take to the covered terrace) and you will fine good food at very reasonable prices and a nice ambience. This is a family run restaurant but none the worse for that. Excellent seafood of all types plus extremely good pizzas if you're not into seafood. Also good wines at affordable prices. Great place to watch the boats in the harbour and relax.

What we love about Sète is its unpretentiousness. It is NOT "cute". Rather, it is still an authentic, working fishing port. Thus, while all of the canalside restaurants are in the tourist trade, they haven't transformed the place into something ridiculously twee. We had put Delices de Jade on our list of possible lunch restaurants, and when our hotel recommended it, we felt even better about it. It was December 21, and it was warm enough not only to eat outside, but to do so in a T-shirt and jeans -- I would have worn shorts had I been prepared. So I have no idea what the place is like inside. The owner and the staff are really extremely friendly and welcoming. I decided to go the whole hog: A Sètoise thing called a tielle, which is a kind of octopus pie. I don't know what the best version of a tielle should be like, but I think that Delices de Jade's version is probably only pretty good, though its accompanying salad was very good. I also had 6 oysters on the side which were quite good though they could have been more chilled. As a main dish I had the bourride de lotte, which was fantastic. I thought I could squeeze dessert in, but, as in all restaurants in France, the dessert portion was enormous: an excellent pear-and-chocolate clafoutis with three huge dollops of chantilly on the side. The 3-course menu was 27 euros, plus 9 for the oysters a la carte, plus 4 for a draft beer. So 40 euros total. I think that's pretty darn good. We'd try Delices de Jade again the next time we're in Sète.
