We arrived without a booking, but there was lots of room to sit outside. Most visitors were Italian, a good sign. Pleasant surroundings, traditional Italian setting and food. Attentive service. Very drinkable house wine as we didn't want a whole bottle. Food very fresh and very well presented indeed. Desserts delicious, though not all those listed on the menu were available. A lovely meal.

We have eaten here before, and it was good.... service was ok, they forgot to take the top off our sons fanta.... school boy error... antipasti for 3 which was amazing! It had really interesting cheeses and local rustic items to try.... we had 3 pizzas, I had the davolo and was delicious.... we had 2 glasses of prosecco, a half litre of wine and mineral water..... with bread the bill was â¬66... good value... so why the 3, the service was sporadic and just not as good as weâd like....

Very good food, the pizza was very good also.Appetizers are awesome and you need to be careful what to chose because there is the probability that you will arrive at the second course with no space for the rest of the meal! The waitress was very cozy as even the owner.I will surely come back.

We had a wonderful lunch at Mehta. The chef, served several âAmuse Boucheâ items and a glass of sparkling Rosé before we ordered. He took a lot of time explaining the source and preparation of each dish. Being in Martina Franca, itâs unlikely they will ever win a Michelin Star, but they certainly deserve one. It was fantastico!

We decided we needed a change of food while in Martina Franca and finished visiting this restaurant on two occasions. On both visits we had an excellent meal. The restaurant is not difficult to find, walk to Viale della Liberta, turn down Via Giuseppe Fanelli and take first turning into Vale Galileo Galilei, it is easily walked from the centre. The restaurant is immaculate, beautiful tiled floor, good quality linens on the table and linen serviettes. The decoration is also very good, everywhere is spotless and clean. We dined early and received a pleasant welcome. The menu is in Chinese, Italian and English making the choice of food easy.Plenty of choice and even a good selection of desserts. We had two meals with no complaints whatsoever. If you like Chinese or are a noodle fan this is the place to try.

Myself and my wife were recommended Nausikaa yesterday morning and decided to lunch there. the menu was original and inventive and everything we had on it was fresh, tasty and beautifully prepared. The mixed starter is highly recommended. We have friends joining us next week and have already booked to return with them. First class food and service and good value as well!

This is a new restaurant in Martina Franca that will rapidly rise in popularity. Situated in the Centro Storico in a great location, the restaurant is bright and clean with plenty of space between tables. There is a wide choice of dishes available, in fact I was stuck for choice (I will have to go back). We started with the cold meat plate, then a duck breast and vitello cooked in Primitivo and honey - wonderful. We finished with ice cream and apple strudel. There is an excellent choice of wines, in fact they have a walk in wine store where you can browse and pick your wine.In fact great food and drink, great service all giving a wonderful experience.

Seafood restaurant, fresh products purchased daily from local fish markets. Local wines from Apulian and national cellars. Indoor room with air conditioning and outdoor summer terrace.
We received a friendly welcome from the owner at Oceano, be aware that the restaurant entrance is down a number of steep steps if you have mobility problems and the outside seating (in an alley) is also down some steps. This an interesting old building outside the central storico. The menu is varied and portions reasonable so two courses were sufficient and the wines local making it an economical evening. Good value as fish can be expensive.I feel sure that we will eat here again.

closed on Tuesdays. Chiuso il martedi.Aperto anche a pranzo
This area has a reputation, rightly, for excellent food. This restaurant, particularly, celebrates this with style. An excellent menu, beautifully prepared and carefully explained, paired with local wines served proudly, meant that we could all enjoy beautiful home made pasta, served with delicious seafood. My favourites were the amazing tempura style vegetables (which I confess to finishing off the last morsels of the sharing plate) and the perfect pasta.Youâll certainly need to book as itâs tiny, but this is a place not to miss.
