Eagles nest is located in the heart of the town and it's only about 2 minutes walk from the sands of bay of bengal and 5 minutes walk from the town centre and serves delicious sea food and small eating like momos and pakoras..its well maintained and kept
The board games are what make this place. Chess, Jenga, Connect 4. Sadly, the food and service is pretty poor. Took them 1hr to make a cheese sandwich for a friend's kid while we had drinks (nobody else in the place). Ordered lassies & the milk had gone off. Couple of times drink orders didn't turn up. The guys are very creepy around any girls that are there without guys too. I watched one night as they tried to convince two French girls to stay but I could see the girls were getting more and more uncomfortable & clearly weren't interested.Kept going back for the board games only.Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback....that one night we had a great time..the girls were not just comfortable because of your too drunk talks and they returned after you left..sad i have to write this....

We had our meals here during our stay at the radisson blu hotel. The food spread is very good and has a huge variety of both local and other varieties. The deserts are very good and has a wide variety. The set up is also very pleasing.

Our group had a great dinner here. Nice location, amazing red snapper with both coconut and lemon rice and very friendly and accommodating hosts. They even took us through the various steps of making the dishes too, which was great to watch. Highly recommended. Note- there were quite a lot of mozzies around town at that time of year but thanks to the mosquito coils they laid down for us and the bug spray, not one of us got bitten the whole night.

I am not prone to complaining but I must comment . Waited over an hour for drinks and food to arrive . The waitress was charming but could not alter the situation . When my fish curry arrived it was inedible. The manager was understanding and did not charge me for this meal. Other meals provided to my family were also pretty ordinary but they refused to comment .

Le Yogi Restaurant (the real and original "Yogi Restaurant"), established in the year 2004, is owned by a Franco-India couple, Fabienne & Muji. Cuisine ranges from European, North and South Indian, Nepali. Le Yogi carries its speciality in fresh Seafood.
First I want to say that there are two le yogi places on the same street. Make sure you go to the original - the one further down the street toward the beach. The atmosphere is laid back and you go to relax. You must take your shoes off at the entrance and then can sit either at normal tables, on couches or on the floor on pillows. We chose the pillows and it was quite comfortable. The music is not loud. The atmosphere is great for families - we were 5 of us. The food I can only assume is freshly cooked as it comes out quite slowly. But there is something for everyone on the menu. The crepe were the best in town (and we sampled many restaurants). The fish can be cooked any way you like it and most importantly it can come with the sauce on the side. The calamari plate was very yummy. The staff is very attentive and nice and the owner Fabienne is there to host you. We went there four times during our vacation week and really enjoyed it. Bring some games and relax with your family!

We are one of the leading seafood restaurants at Mahabalipuram present for more than two and a half decade. Searock serves the most delicious seafood one could find in the land ruled by the Pallavas. We at searock let our guests pick their choice of fish
Very fresh fish and seafood brought to table before cooking. Lovely service. Quality of cooking was amazing; the best Marsala I have ever tasted on fish! Reasonably priced for western wallets. Two substantial main courses and two large premium beers at less than IRP 2000

The Wharf 2.0 is the main and most popular restaurant of Radisson BLU Mahabalipuram. It specializes in Indian, Italian and Sea Food. Food is good and so is the location. Can be used to celebrate some special occasions when you are not actually staying there. A good but expensive one but worth visiting for it's views.Location: The restaurant itself is located in the extreme backside of the Radisson BLU hotel, in-fact it is almost on the beach. You will need a buggy ride to reach here as the hotel is spread over a huge area and the distance from the reception to the restaurant is quite a long walk.Parking: There is ample valet parking available for all guestsAmbiance: The restaurant reminds me of the famous Goan shacks which are near the beaches and have a very cool and casual atmosphere. During night the area is dimly lit to make a soothing environment. During night when we visited the sea wind was really feeling like a tornado and was quite uncomfortable. They could have provided some kind of partition to stop or at least slow down the wind.Seating: Most of the seating is on the elevated section and there are some tables arranged on the ground as well. Cutlery and plates are of high quality as you would expect from Radisson.Service: We went for a dinner and it was a full house so didn't get the usual service that I get in others restaurants in Radisson. Getting to the restaurant in night was a challenge for guests not staying there as there was no one present to guide us. Order was taken in some moments but took some time to arrive. Service was more friendly and attentive towards their "foreign" in-house guests in-comparison to outsiders.Food: We ordered a Sea-food soup, veg burger and pasta. All the items were sufficient in quantity and quality was really good. Somehow due to the heavy wind didn't felt like ordering too many items.Price: Being a premium restaurant it is one of the highly priced restaurant in Mahabalipuram. Our bill came to around 2400 bucks which is kind of expected. Can't complain on this one.Overall this restaurant has two different environments. One is during the daytime when you can enjoy the sea beside and the waves and the beautifully carved lawns of the hotel. And the other one is the night time when there is complete darkness and all you can here is the big crashing of the waves on the beach. A definite visit at least once to enjoy the surroundings. Food is good but nor great. But you wont feel dissapointed.

A relaxed friendly atmosphere specialising in South Indian veg and non-veg curries and dosa, as well as seafood and Western dishes. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cooking classes with Babu are also available.
A very nice place to have a good time with your friends. I was visiting Mahabalipuram in autumn 2017. Babu was very friendly, welcoming, and also joined me for lunch. He asked me if I can paint something on the wall, so I did and tried my best... Canât wait to come back sometime!
