Adequate seafood, poor tres leches, hard sell on time share unexpected and unpleasant
Dinner, and lunch, both were delicious and exactly what I expected. What surprised me both meals was how attentive the staff were, what a great team they are. Dinner was an event, as all the tables were collected into three groups of 12 or more, and there were three different large parties enjoying their vacations. Similarly at lunch, only this time it was a table for 24, and they seemed to be many business people and locals discussing an outdoor education venture. I heard wonderful things about the owner of this and his other restaurant, a man who gives back to the town of Loreto.

Waited over 30 minutes to be served breakfast. Burned hard toast. Black bottomed pancakes. Ordered crispy bacon. Got 2 crispy loaded with grease and 1 close to raw. Beans were cold served on cold plate. No English spoken here. Will definitely not be back.

I ate at Playa blanca twice, and both times the restaurant was pleasantly not full of noisy people (Loreto is popular in March). The man who welcomed me, took my order and served my meal was fun, engaging, and tho not the owner behaved as if he cared that much. He helped me order what I wanted to eat, and the food (fish, shrimp) was delicious.

Part of our stay this year, we had first time guests visit to Loreto. Although they commented some of our preferred eating spots were a little more ârusticâ than they expected, they shared our for LM. They insisted they get to experience breakfast, lunch, and dinner at LM, and they did! Not only did they enjoy all the meals, they found the staff as accommodating and professional as in âless rusticâ places they had visited! LOL! During our visit, we had French Toast (wifeâs favorite) and Divorced eggs (my fav); several Main course Salads (yes, ok to eat); Enchilades with Green sauce, Fish tacos, and their Chicken soup ( a meal by itself!)- All great!Oh yeah! If you sit in front, great people watching and view of the Bay!

Los Olivos Restaurant, located on the second floor of La Mision Loreto hotel, serves a range of fine foods, including special recipes prepared by our chef, as well as features a spectacular view of the Sea of Cortez. Beautifully and conveniently situated
We went to this place as we got a tip not to judge it for being located in a hotel. We were not disappointed. Food was really good both for adults and the two four year olds we had with us. They had good pizza for the kids, great drinks and really flavorful and well presented food. We had pasta and fajitas. Pricey meal for the area but we thought it was well worth it for the food, service and the experience.

Upstairs with a fabulous view of the Sea of Cortez, the covered terrace offers open air dining at it's finest. Inside offers the same view if wind or rain brings you inside (rare in Loreto!). Try the fresh fish, lobster, shrimp, local chocolate clams, pas
Excellent food- one of the best in Loreto for sure! Tremendous views over the Gult and out to the islands! Houseflies were a bit obnoxious... Service was much better than average for Mexico. We had smoked meats and also a Mexican dish. All food was excellent, generous servings for sure. This is a can't-miss choice for Loreto! We're so glad you gave us a try! We look forward to seeing you again on your next visit! Carol and Lee

Serving excellent Mexican Food since 2009, we open from 7:30am to 9pm.
Had the delicate Cilantro Fish with lots of fresh veggies (cooked perfectly) and a tasty Charro Bean Soup. My friend had the sumptuous Chicken Tostadas, also delicious. As a bonus, it's right next door to the best ice cream & paleta parlor in Loreto...dozens of flavors and all natural.

As has been reported by almost every reviewer, a meal at La Picazon is well worth the drive out of town. Very good food, excellent service in a beautiful setting. Never had parrot fish before and it was delicious. A trip to La Picazon needs to be part of any trip to Loreto.

The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch on the patio where we were served by three handsome, very nice young waiters who brought us two large Combo Platters filled with delicious offerings. The Chicken Mole was REALLY out of this world, but it was all very good - even the rice. The margaritas were also very tasty. Would definitely return in a heartbeat.
