If you want to try the hospitality, spontaneity and sympathy of Peruvians you have to visit that place! The food is fantastic as well as the dressings and the drink 'chicha morada' served. I had gone to other traditional ones but with certainty this is the number 1 where you have the obligation to visit while in Lima!

An authetic Italian vibe makes Rigoletto a gathering place for locals and hip visitors. The menu is traditional Tuscan with varied daily special and samplinig of regional dishes, excellent food, great service and great atmosphere.
When in Peru use Trip Advisor! This restaurant was very easy to find thank goodness! We just arrived from Cusco and we were famished. For appetizers we had bruschetta (delicious!) and calamari (Absolutely one of the best weâve ever had! Crispy outside and moist inside!)For drinks we had pisco sour and other drink (sorry I forgot the names)For our entrees we had rigatoni, ravioli, beef with pasta and fried Cui! Everything we ordered was so delicious! Surprisingly we really enjoyed the Cui! EXCELLENT!!!!! Our first time having fried Cui. It tasted like Popeyes Chicken! We finished everything we didnât have space for dessert ââï¸HIGHLY RECOMMEND Rigoletto Lima!!!!!

Proud inheritors of an ancient cuisine based on hunting, fishing and agricultural crops reflected in our culture for thousands of years, the Chiclayanos have always been creators of delightful dishes passed down from generation to generation. These flavor
I came here with a group of different ages and backgrounds! We tried a couple dishes and I found the assortment to be great. The experience overall was very pleasant. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. One of the students we were with enjoyed the hot cerviche and he generally does not like seafood.Although I ordered the traditional cerviche. I tried the beef heart, pork chaufa, green rice with goat, the seafood platter, corn cakes, pumpkin picarones, and hot cerviche. Overall, there is a lot of traditional tastes from what I understood from my week in Peru and trying foods throughout the week. I particularly liked the hot cerviche. This was such a great find and I highly recommend it if you are looking to go outside of your typical pallet (if not from the area). A lot of the menu is based off of more northern Peru (Chiclayo).

I normally don't like restaurants that are too trendy, and prefer low key establishments that are more about substance than decoration. But in this case, they have both fronts covered. Food and drinks all excellent--as much as I love traditional sushi, these inventive twists they put on their dishes were all exploding with flavor and texture, each bite more exciting than the last. We were big group of 10 and they managed all the orders very well, with three separate checks and all the different drink orders, so big props on the wait staff for handling it all very professionally. We got to be in a sort of private dining room which was also quite nice. This was the first meal we had over a 2-week multi-city trip--we couldn't have started off in a better way!

MAIDO! That's how you'll be greeted once you step into the restaurant. A big welcoming team...ready to wow you! Maido is a humble restaurant despite it's Michelin stars and several awards. The food has a purpose, a clean vision and knows it's superb roots. The team knows and passionate about their work and they will explain each dish with respect that the dish deserve. Some dishes are more complicated than others but remember elevating simple dishes are harder since there is nowhere to hide; on the contrary Maido's dishes are proud be seen and tasted. You're already in Peru, do yourself a favor and experience Maido...

The Skirt steak was outstanding and with a Malbec Luigi Bosca wine was perfect. The only dissonating moment was when the piano-man in the next door bar began to play his music combined with the restaurants own music, the mix of the two sounds just did not make a harmomius experienceDear client. Astounded at the service, food, and drinks! We enjoyed the Lomo Saltado, beautiful chunks of beef and fried potatoes (what Americans would call French Fries) in a soy-based sauce, survived with rice and some Peruvian corn. Itâs traditional meal, superbly prepared. The service was exceptional. Our server dealt with our crappy Spanish but completely fluent in English. What a nice guy. Someh, our server talked us into this dessert... It was a caramel with whipped cream and cinnamon. Holy smokes! Outside-style dining, lovely decor, great traditional food, excellent, innovative drinks, and superb service. Worth a visit and highly recommended.¡Totalmente de acuerdo contigo!
