By far the best tasting and presented food we've had on our 2nd trip to PetraThe present a very professional, friendly and genuine Greek welcome that I really enjoyed, the food may be similar to everywhere else but the food is delivered fresh, appetising and you can see how much care and attention has be given to produce such good clean plates of food.We had tuna salad, calamari, pizza, stifado, souvlaki to name a few and all were excellent. We found the White Askitikos dry and fruity and good value at 13 euros The kitchen must have a very competent pair of hands as the food remains consistent. It is also nice to be served by a more mature, relaxed and professional waiting staff who want to please and ensure your visit is enjoyable.Thank you Reef we will definitely be back!

At the end of the harbour, just before the Captains Table. Small & friendly, brilliant service & food. We visited 3 times. We tried the marinated tuna which was absolutely delicious, a great alternative to marinated anchovies & something we never would have ordered without the suggestion; a WOW dish. Fresh seabass was grilled to perfection & served with a lovely salad & oregano sprinkled chips. Grilled octopus with soft & crispy bits & a beautiful flavour. We tried some great Greek wines from the wine list too. The hospitality here was wonderful, we received a gift of marinated tuna to take home; it survived the journey! Don't miss this place, we'll be back.

A popular water front restaurant in the harbour of Molyvos on Lesvos. Serving mezedes (tappas) With a variety of different Mediterranean dishes, vegetarian and meat and fresh fish.
The Captains Table is one of our favourite restaurants to eat when in Molyvos. Lovely setting on the harbour with a view of the village and castle. On our visit to the Captains Table last year we were slightly disappointed with the meal we received. Not the usual standard we had become to expect at the Captains Table!! We decided to give the Captains Table another chance on our return to the island this year. Wow what a difference we were certainly not disappointed this time round (not sure if itâs new owners). Lovely well prepared and tasty food served by lovely knowledgable staff. Meze style dining and we choose six dishes (main portions also offered) from the menu. The nice member of staff that served us recommended the baby squid as an alternative to the calamari that we had chosen. The baby squid was delicious and a good recommendation. Thank you. We also the had fava dip, grilled octopus, spinach and cheese croquettes, ladatori saganaki and little meat pies - all delicious. Nothing disappointed and finished off with delicious peanut brittle. When we are back on Lesvos we will be certainly visiting the Captains Table again. Thank you so much for your review and i am so glad you tried our restaurant again after your experience last year ( we are the same owners and cooks for the last 25 years )

Been there a few times, the menu is very extensive with plenty of options from pizzas to seafood, and is very very tasty as everything is freshly prepared. The prices are very reasonable for the portions you get and staff is very friendly. Definitely worth a visit!

Absolutely fantastic. We were tipped off to come to Gorgona, and then one of the waiters said we would not find better food anywhere else... Well we were happy to believe him and thoroughly endorse his opinion 100%.Superb food in a friendly family restaurant and reasonable prices; great value for money due to the high quality.Come to Gorgona. Just pass by all the other restaurants to get here. You will be delighted. âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

We went to Anaxos Beach on the last evening of our six day holiday in Lesvos. Here we wanted to try seafood at Aggelos restaurant by the sea. We ordered grilled sardines, fresh grilled calamari, grilled shrimps, salad and homemade wine. Each one was delicious. The sardines in particular were so fresh and beautifully cooked that we didn't even need to debunk. The calamari was also very tasty and fresh. Restaurants with female operators are doing very well. Giving wet lemon wipes in Greece is not very common in all tavernas so it was also very good. Of course, watermelon served at the end of the meal is a stylish gesture. If you happen to be in the area, you should definitely stop by this restaurant, which has a lot of variety besides seafood.Sent from my iPad

Located just meters from the the stunning Anaxos beach, you will find the ANAXOS HOTEL. With breathtaking sea and mountain views. This multi-award winning hotel offers you all the amenities to make your holiday enjoyable and relaxing. Family run since 199
Had not had a break for two years, so it was imperative that we found somewhere where both myself and my wife could relax, all spot on, wherever I was within the establishment there was always another cold beer waiting to be served to me, highlight was with my wife, she has a very specific eating problem, the chef sat down with her and discussed her options, needless to say it was a complete success, only for the 2nd time in over 7 years that she has eaten something and it has stayed down, an absolute triumph:)

Restaurant Temporary closed for season 2019.Re opening 2020.Thank you
We visited this restaurant on our final night in Molyvos as Iâd read the great reviews. Perhaps I was expecting too much. It was friendly and had lovely views but more expensive than other restaurants serving very similar food. I had the Gigantes - giant beans but not giant portion (yes I admit itâs a starter but at other places I got a bigger portion as a starter). Itâs clear that itâs a place where regulars go and there were lots of happy faces (almost like customers were family). Perhaps a few visits are needed to get this level of service that others seemed to have. No end of meal watermelon, or small drink which means I am rating lower than the nearby Tropicana which was absolutely superb! Meal was tasty enough but not outstanding.
