My friends and I stumbled upon this solid fine dining restaurant in Rome. We were surprised that it was such a classy place. The interior and ambiance was intimate and comfortable. The two main stars are the food and customer service. The food was unbelievably delicious. I canât stop not thinking about the taste! And what a relief to finally have the perfect meal in Rome! Everyone was approachable and accommodating. The owner even came up to us and chatted with us! It was a pleasure to have dined here. Expensive but you get a five star experience. Highly recommended!

A great dish is created whit great ingredients. Our restaurant only uses original, fresh and genuine ingredients. You will only find the best Italy produces. Eating at Il Ristoro dal Patriota is a truly unique experience.
Blink and you could miss this little gem. We read the reviews on this restaurant and wanted to visit it. We walked by it as there were no tables out the front and it is right next to the Hotel Accademia (you would think it is part of it, but it isnât). The food was gorgeous. Homemade pasta, lovely wine, great service and the best coffee I have had in Rome. We will be going back to try the legendary lasagne.

I took my best friend here for her birthday and was so glad I did as it was a beautiful meal. From the presentation to the balance of flavours, the delicious wine and impeccable service, Aqualunae delivered on all fronts! I was surprised to hear they had only been open 7 months - they are doing everything right and I wish them every success as this was easily the best meal we had in Rome.

Iâve visited this restaurant a few times due to the good food. I would highly recommend the calamari. The manager is very helpful and itâs refreshing to walk into a restaurant in Ladispoli and meet a manager that speaks English. This is also a great hang out spot on a Thursday and Friday as they got a great Dj playing. This is definitely a place worth visiting.

Our Italian business partners had us take an early quit one sunny afternoon and we took the train to Ostia Antica where a professional English speaking guide gave us a thorough tour of the very well-preserved ruins. Much better than Pompeii! After the site closed at 1830, we took the train to the coast (3 stops?) and we walked to this seaside restaurant. Our hosts had pre-arranged everything. We started with glasses of pro secco as we watched the sunset from the water's edge, then the gastronomic spectacle commenced!First up was tuna tartare, chunks of melt in your mouth ahi in truffle oil. Second starter was very tender squid body stuffed with minced shrimp and basil with a creamy sauce, minced olives and crispy fried prosciutto. No rubbery calamari rings here! Third round was steamed mussels in a a delicious broth for bread dipping. Fourth - baked fresh (not salty nor "fishy!") anchovies in corn meal with pickled onion, rocket and a light fish paste sauce. Then onto a primo - creamy tomato rice with seafood bits and pomegranate pips. Then another dish - not really a starter. Nuggets of smoked ricotta, sun dried tomato, shaved cheese and pickled octopus. Crazy textures at work here! Seconni was a a filet of baked sea bass served on an orange reduction garnished with salty fennel, bitter chocolate and red currant. Are you full yet just reading this? We finished up with a freshly made lemon sorbet with fresh mint. Many many bottle of a flinty Chablis-type (or Mersault) white wine complemented all this seafood. Some Limoncello and grappa finished the evening before we sprinted to catch the last train back to Rome.An unforgettable meal in a beautiful setting.

Small and cozy dining room with air conditioning and ample parking. Bright, quiet, away from the busy city with a large terrace surrounded by green hills where you can relax in the summer. Local reported by many food guides: Gambero Rosso, Bibenda, FUORIC
I didn't expect such a beautiful dinner because the way to arrive the restaurant via GPS is so difficult. and luckily we insist to destination otherwise we all missed a beautiful dinner. Everything is good, people are nice. Will come again. highly recommended.

The restaurant "Baths of Diocletian" has been in business since 1986 and has now found its precise location in the capital's restaurant scene. The strength of our business is the professionalism and friendliness of its staff, coordinated by the brothers D
Food was pretty average. Service was ok. The bill came and was â¬93. Maybe with hindsight I should have checked it in detail. I paid the bill plus tip and it was taken away quickly. I thought it was a little expensive so picked up a menu to check the price of the meals we had eaten. Straight away a waiter asked if there was a problem. I said I thought we had been overcharged and was taken away from the other diners and was confronted by a person who came out of the kitchen plus three waiters. They said there had been a mistake and gave me â¬7 back. When I asked to see the original bill they said they didn't have it which was strange considering I'd only just paid it. They started to add a new bill together and I noticed the prices they were writing down were â¬2 or â¬3 more expensive then the menu prices. When I questioned this the four of them became quite aggressive towards me. I tried to calm the situation but they were shouting and pointing at the new bill they had written with the more expensive prices. I thought with their aggressive attitude towards me and being outnumbered four to one I should cut my losses and go. For this reason I wouldn't recommend this place. If you do eat here double check your bill before paying.

Upon the recommendation of front desk personnel at our hotel we had lunch Piccolo Mondo on Via Aurora. We elected to dine outside because of the beautiful weather. My wife had a spritzer and I had a Moretti, and we both had a pasta dish with cheese and pepper. The food was good but the service was slow and not particularly friendly; it is doubtful this restaurant would be on my list to revisit.Thank you for appreciating our food. We dispoace for the service but it is generally reviewed as excellent.
