We went to this restaurant based on positive comments on TripAdvisor. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the menu was in the very affordable range, despite some comments on TripAdvisor that it was "pricey". Food was excellent, but the most noticeable aspect of the restaurant was the exceptionally pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. We were served by Audrey (apologies if I spelled the name wrong) What a truly delightful young lady, helpful, friendly, offering advice in excellent English, and "not noticing" my poor French.Food, 2 huge starters, excellent Moules Breton and a delightful steak, dessert, coffee, half bottle Muscadet, large Evian and a pastis, â¬79 euro and loads of laughs. The location is right on the marina too, adding to the vista.

We reserved a table overlooking the beach and sea for our 43rd wedding anniversary. It was a good job we did that as the place was very busy, with the tables that have views all full. The food was pretty average for a French eatery. Nothing special, other than my wife's pudding which consisted of lots of delicious little dishes. The staff were very busy and distracted by the numbers of diners. However, the view of the sunset over the beach and sea was well worth every penny we had spent on the meal.

We had the lunchtime buffet for Euro 28 and it did not disappoint. Free Flow heaven!!!Moules, Seafood soup, Crabs, both whole and claws, Scallops, Langoustines, Clams, Winkles ,Prawns. Very helpful staff. Good wine list. Since this is the second week of September it was about 30% full and we are the on British. Put this place on you must visit list.Easy parking just after crossing the bridge on LHS.

Vente au détails et dégustation sur place bordée par l'océanâ¦Huîtres, crevettes, palourdes, bulots et rillettes de poisson. En plus, à emporter homards bretons et tourteaux vivants.
We are definitely oyster lovers and have eaten them in many places on different continents and can only admit that these served by Serge Cochennec and his family were top.For a price that in a restaurant would maybe get you 4 oysters, you get a serving of 9 with some bread (not the most fresh but who cares?) and a small glass of wine. Yes, the glass is small but in a typically French way, the bottle is half way anyway and left on the table. The owner and family are most friendly and clearly enjoy being complimented but rightfully so. These oysters are simply top and so are the palourdes.I do not usually exaggerate but if you did not stop here while in Carnac, you missed something.

Thank you to all the staff at La Brigantine. We had a wonderful evening. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was gorgeous. Traditional, the best on offer and delicious. We (parents) delighted to eat some fabulous seafood. 3 kids happy to eat what they got (it doesnât serve kids food). Plus puddings as big as their heads! We walked home happy!

I have been going on vacation for years in Brittany but was never aware of that wonderful place. You can enjoy seafood and great oysters ( Organic no OGM ) and bring your own salad or veggies ( or chips!!) and have a great family gathering or romantic dinner in the evening. They sell good wines and the couple who owns and manages the place is charming. Just try it ! I will return soon. It is open all day 7/7.

This place has real character and was full of locals when we visited. Not cheap but not expensive either, the food was very good, as was the service. I would have liked to have gone back but sadly the opportunity didn't arise this time. Recommended.

Unpretentious restaurant with great fresh fish cooked to perfection ... Sitting right on the banks of the water looking over to the port of trinite sur mer... This is the best restaurant in the neighborhood ... Homemade desserts like Ile flottante and mousse at chocolat are a perfect ending to a perfect meal... We loved it and went back twice in one week ...

This restaurant is probably one of the best place to have dinner in the area. First the food is really really good. You have a limited menu but it is fresh, first quality and delicious. The service is excellent and everybody is nice, relaxed but very professional. Last, the place is unbelievable. The view is breathtaking. they have two outside patios, both of them with exceptional look out. The outside decor is very cute with wood or steel furniture. If it is too cold outside, you can be inside where the decor is also extremely cute and the view is also there. Bottom line, one the best experience in the area. You will have good food, in a nice decor inside or in a magical setting outside, served by really nice professional laid back waiters/waitresses. All of that managed by by an very kind manager and owner.

Lovely , classic French restaurant. They steam most of theirseafood in herbs. Had terrific lobster there. Mostly locals,so we knew we were at a good restaurant.
