Reviews on Seafood food in Kythira, Attica, Greece. Kythira (/kɪˈθiːrə/, /ˈkɪθɪrə/; Greek: Κύθηρα [ˈciθiɾa], also transliterated as Cythera, Kythera and Kithira) is an island in Greece lying opposite the south-eastern tip of the Peloponnese peninsula. It is traditionally listed as one of the seven main Ionian Islands, although it is distant from the main group. Administratively, it belongs to the Islands regional unit, which is part of the Attica region (although at large distance from Attica itself).

The owner, being a fisherman himself, only offers fish of the day's catch. It is not usually big fancy fish but local small and fresh.Try the red mullet and their fried zucchini !!!! Quick personal service. On August go early for fish and .... a seat . Their house white wine is acceptable.

Nice setting near the beach. Pleasant staff when we arrived. Starters were nice and plentiful. Thought grilled octopus was expensive compared to other places we've been. My chicken souvlaki had a strange taste so didn't eat it all. Was ok afterwards so maybe my taste buds. Received bill but no complimentary desert typical of Greek restaurants. When we asked we were brought individual creme caramel deserts. No 'good night' from anyone when we left! Our bill was â¬66 for 2 so not cheap.

Lemoni used to be a creperie. This year the concept has changed a bit so now one can taste a variety of dishes there. The dishes we ordered were quite tasty but nothing special, though. The prices were reasonable and the service satisfactory. Thank you a lot !!!!! Hope to see you again ...

We visited this restaurant just before our departure from the island, otherwise we would have eaten here more than once. Great menu, lots of options for vegetarians. Prices a bit high (as everywhere on this island), but large portions. Magical location right next to the sea.

Very good place, nice options and good prices. Right on the beach of Kapsali. Good for lunch or dinner.

The right place for really fresh fish from the Kytherian seas... in front of the golden beach of Kapsali bay with view to the castle of Chora ... Try a lobster spaghetti, a stuffed squid. Also you can find Greek and Kytherian delicate dishes !!!
Pleasant welcome and attentive service bode for a pleasant night at this well presented restaurant by the sea. A lovely waitress working in tandem with probably the owner made suggestions, explained dish compositions, took our orders and thus started a very nice experience in contrast with our previous evening in a nearby restaurant. We over ordered but still we managed to get through our vegetarian entree dishes to be followed by our seafood dishes, all well presented and very tasty. We were very pleased with our dining experience and we would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Ate here twice this year early September, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times food was delicious and service was good. Lunch time we chose two dishes from the specials which the waiter informed us of. We had stuffed tomato and green pepper and lamb fricasse - both delicious. We chose our fresh fish early afternoon for that evening and booked a table, which was good as the restaurant was busy when we arrived. Service was pleasant at all times but a little slow sometimes. Food was cooked to perfection and our waiter suggested accompaniments to our fish. Nice, local wine. Lovely evening sitting by the sea. Would recommend for delicious Greek cuisine in a lovely setting on the beach.

After hard days of snorkelling and swimming at Kaladi beach we often ended up here for lunch. Fresh fish, homemade beautiful moussaka, lovely salad and the best fried cheese I have ever had. Wash it all down with a cold draft beer or carafe of wine amongst the olive trees and you will be in the mood for an afternoon sleep. Planning on going back here for dinner as they have slow cooked goat, rabbit stew as well as the trays of fish to pick from. I grew up by the sea and can always tell if fish is fresh by the way it looks. They also weigh the fish and let you know how much it costs before you choose whether you would like it fried or grilled. This is authentic Greek cuisine and family hospitality at a very reasonable price.
