We went there by chance, just walking around on the waterfront and we have been really lucky as it's a fantastic restaurant. First service is absolutely top, boss is so friendly, helping you on your choice of food, starter, main and dessert were fantastic (zebra was outstanding) and we were 5 people taking all different food. If you are around, with so many different restaurants, just pick this one, absolutely worthwhile.

Whilst in Knysna, we ate here a couple of times as it was very convenient to our hotel and the food and staff were excellent with a good menu including sushi. Upstairs there is a cocktail bar which was also nice with friendly staff. Our only disappointment was that both places closed quite early as it was out of season.

This restaurant is the sister restaurant to Line Fisheries next door..and specialise in meat. Same style as Line Fisheries...wooden benches, take your own wine great craich. You still have access to the same seafood offered in the next door restaurant...but if you want fish...go next door to Line Fisheries...it IS their speciality. However...if you want meat then THIS is the place. The ribs and sirloin steak combo offering was awesome...great service...but don't forget to take your own wine.

I was in town for work and decided to leave my party and try the dry dock again. The service was casual, but the food was not good. I ordered Grilled prawns and asked for a salad. The prawns were too spiced although I had ordered plain. To get a salad dressing Olive oil and balsamic was a challenge. My waiter tried, but he had been inadequately trained. The result was a disappointing meal.

Not exactly a restaurant... Not exactly a bar... Definitely not a deli... Well, not exactly a deli... It's an eating place, a drinking place and definitely a meeting place. And it's a gift shop, a clothing emporium, a food store, a fish monger and a baker
Hi My wife and I regularly go to 34. This last time was very disappointing. in the past the food was always good value. We went for breakfast and ordered our usual. The Special was R60 including Coffee. My wife however ordered the Oopsie Breakfast which was R69 (Inc Coffee) but now R80. When we ordered we asked if the Oopsie still came with Coffee, and yes was the reply. When we received the bill the Oopsie was R80 + R26 for Coffee = so yes!!! R106. Okay so big price difference. When we queried the price, the waitress said that she would remove the coffee from the bill, but that it would now come out of her pay. This made us feel very guilty. We asked why the restaurant wouldn't cover the cost.I was quite disgusted that a well known, restaurant on Knysna Quay of all places, feels its okay to take wages from an already low paid waitress, when they are dealing with a billing dispute. We have traveled to many places and never have I seen a restaurant feel its okay to take advantage of staff who already dont earn very much. Also that Customers are made to feel guilty when they dispute the bill.Kind of penny wise but pound foolish. I just wonder how many people would eat at their restaurant, knowing how they do business.

South African Portuguese cuisine. Seafood, chicken and steaks prepared on order. Outside deck seating with beautiful views of the harbour Excellent food and excellent service. Chef is the owner.
This relatively small restaurant is not small on taste and selection. Great wine list. Steaks are phenomenal as are the oysters. We went when one of the staff was out but service was still pretty good.

Had a lovely meal at Anchorage; Booked in advance to ensure we got a table. The staff were friendly and went the extra mile to make our visit memorable. Our waiter was fun and very knowledgeable about what to recommend. We went for the Seafood Platter for 2 which was delicious and plentiful. It came with a variety of sauces so theres something for everyone to enjoy! Would definitely recommend for anyone in the area!

The most unique and affordable seafood restaurant in Knysna with one of the tastiest, fresh seafood menus in the Garden Route. You can choose exactly what style meal you want e.g. rice, salad or chips with your fish, prepared the way you like it: Grilled,
We enjoyed a fantastic feast of local fresh fish and giant Madagascar prawns, all grilled perfectly. This is a very casual place, obviously frequented by locals. It has a âbeach hutâ decor complete with sandy floor and simple timber tables and benches. Most importantly, donât forget to bring your own bottle of wine or beers. They do not serve alcohol but you are welcome to BYO, and no cover charge, too!

Please note that East Head Cafe will be closed between the 06 May and the 04 June 2019. We will reopen on Wednesday 05 June 2019
Situated close to The Heads, the scenery is stunning. There are light blankets on all the outdoor seats to allow comfort of the weather is chilly. Attentive, friendly staff move quickly. Coffee is a local roasted blend and carrot cake fresh and nicely spiced. Cheese platter is good for a light meal; the smoked cheese is superb. The attention to detail is noticable! Well worth a visit.
