The waitress was charming, remembered us from the previous evening when we had stopped to look at the menu and spoken to her. We ordered two glasses of wine which was served as we perused the menu. She took our order Starter; mixed seafood rolls & melon, Maim course; two swordfish steaks.Mixed seafood rolls arrived and after a long wait we had to ask for the melon, she apologised and went off to fetch it.Starters cleared we eagerly awaited our Swordfish. When our meals arrived one was Swordfish the other wasnât. When we asked her about it she said she had misheard us and whisked on away to get it replaced. This left my wife with a meal and me without. The waitress returned saying she had requested priority on the fish & suggested we could share the one meal my wife had and then share the replacement meals. Quick thinking and we did just that. The food was delicious even if the service had been a little erratic and the charm and ambience of the surroundings somehow allowed you to forgive that element. Turkish coffee and a Raki to finish and a bill which include 5 glasses of wine of just 220tl (£27.00) including tip, terrific value for money and a good, if not different, meal experience. They got there eventually and you get the impression theyâve had plenty of practice! All that to one side Efendi restaurant is well worth a visit.

Nice place, with a âboat tableâ facing on the Main Street. Not all the waiting staff speak English but be patient and they are able to help you out. Mezze were good, and so were the hot starters we shared. Price wise it wasnât that expensive. Weâve been treated well. The place was packed of people so I guess is better to book.

Excellent restaurant. Food was delicious. Favourite dish was shrimp casserole. You get a delicious puff bread with dips to start. Firat made us feel very welcome. Went back several times whilst in Kas. Will definitely be returning. The Goodlad and Gaygusuz Family

Booked for Friday evening. Requested a front of terrace table. Arrived just before the appointed time and the waitress recognised us and led us to the corner table at the front. The view is excellent over the town and through to the old mosque. Recommend the Antre Tempranillo rosé. It is pricier at 110tl but the best we have tasted yet. The meze platter and roast artichoke starters were very tasty. We all had fish courses; stuffed squid, sword fish and mixed seafood dish. All excellent as were the chips/fries. Relaxing ambiance, very good service. Chose to go down to Ferido for desert but I am sure Gelos have great deserts as well. All reasonably priced for such a lovely setting. 3 people dined with wine for 326tl. thank you for the nice comment

If you want to have stress in your holiday visit the restaurant. Shameless and unmannered manager. If you want to sit while your stomack touchs the table go there..We just moved to other place just after we take our table..Impossible to sit! One of the unfriendly restaurant managers..

Very nice typical turkish place. Food is great and service as well. The place is in the city centre but the quality of food is amazing. Worth a visit!

It's always nice to see Kadir (the maitre-d), he's really friendly and we've all known him quite a few years.When we turned up at the restaurant there was a power cut in the street .....but Kadir had a generator so the kitchen was functioning.The steak fajitas were fabulous and the prawn casserole very nice. The lamb chops were delicious. It was a great meal in the dark. Well done Kadir!500TL for 4 including beers and wine.

Loved te vibe in the place. Needed the dishes customized which the chef readily did. Tried stuffed calamari and seafood special. Both were done fabulolous especially the special.
