Heading south towards Ravenna on the main road from Chioggia (SS309) we stopped here for dinner quite late in the evening and it was an excellent choice. We ordered two starters (antipasti misti and astice), one first course (spaghetti alle vongole veraci) two main courses (branzino and orata) plus a side dish of grilled vegetables, a carafe of the house wine and then dessert, and the bill came to 87 euros. The atmosphere was very agreeable, mostly local families who were clearly regular customers. All the dishes we saw being taken to the other tables were well presented and appetising. When the time came to pay the bill, everything was carefully itemised, without any mistakes. You feel you are in very good hands in a place like this, unlike many of the restaurants you find in Venice. We will be back.

+ staff is friendly but a bit uncoordinated and only few speak English or German+ food quality is ok but don't expect good standards+ we didn't have a reservation on a Saturday night and they made things happen- main course arrived before starters, so we got main course and starters at the same time- one main course arrived very late, so one ate aloneRestaurants on Albarella are overall very disappointing and La Palancana is certainly a better one. If you are customed to good restaurants with good service you will be very disappointed on the island. If you can arrange to a lower standard, La Palancana is a good choice on Albarella.

Characteristic restaurant, has a unique atmosphere. Overlooks a salt-water lagoon, you can eat inside or outside in the garden. We serve fish in all its forms, from great appetizers at the succulent grilled dishes are the appetizer of the house, the imper
The location is indeed very nice, sitting outside and eating on the fiordi side of albarella is definitely pleasant (provided you came covered with mosquito repellent spray, but that's the same everywhere in the Island). The restaurant is however a typical tourists trap. We waited 1h20 to get a horrible pizza with less than 30% of the places occupied. The rate of pizzas delivered didn't exceed 5 per 20 min.. To be noted that we ordered pizza as everything else was outrageously expensive. We paid 4 ⬠each for the "coperto" (!!!!) and we didn't even get any bred...

Cibo mediocre.

We came to Porto Levante because 9 years ago we had arrived there in a hire boat from Casale and we wanted to revisit old haunts. We happened to arrive at lunchtime so went to this restaurant because it was near to where we parked. How fortunate we were.An excellent seafood platter was plenty for the two of us. I then had lobster with tagliatele which was very good and my wife, who is not that keen on seafood, had fritto misto which she said was one of the best she had ever eaten, noting particularly that it was not greasy as many are. Add to that a mezzo of prosecco frizzante and two coffee, all for just 54 euro and an old man was very happy.

We were recommended this restaurant while cycling through the Po Delta. It was one of the best meals we have had anywhere in the world. Lovely fresh seafood, attentive but not intrusive service, good wine and excellent value. It will become our benchmark for good food !

Nice location with beautiful setting. But that's already all. Besides that, here is the wish father of thought and the ambition of this restaurant is far bigger than the abilities. Most of the food was mediocre and you'll find everything far better at other restaurants in Rosolina and its surrounding. However, the crowning glory of this failure is, that they are ripping off tourists as back in the glory of Italian tourism back in the eighties. When you buy fish per kilogram here, they charge rudely: for an ordinary fish plate with bass (branzino) they charged us 48 euro per person. And to be precise: It was quite mediocre and looked as if the cook had driven over it with the car. A real shame, and you have to keep in mind, that rather expensive fish is really cheap in restaurants in this region (eg dover sole for 17 euro or lobster for 25 euro). So when they charge 48 for bass, they are nothing else than a tourist trap.Rather unclever business philosophy in todays digital age. Comes in addition that our family is in this region for several months per year and would have spent thousands of euro at this good looking restaurant in the next years. But when the greed for fast tourist money is so rude, we go to other places like Capello or Monte in close vicinity of this tourist trap.Dear "to_many_reg_users",We believe our unique location creates the best atmosphere and dinner experience for our clients, and we are glad you liked it so much.We are also sorry that our restaurant's philosophy was greatly understood. We do not aim to be a pretentious restaurant, at all!!!WE are simply proud to be an "ittiturismo" that cooks and serves EXCLUSIVELY FRESH LOCAL FISH and other seasonal ingredients.YOU are well aware of the prices of the FROZEN FISH you can find in the area, but certainly that is not the fish or quality we are offering. For example, the lobster you are mentioning are not local product and they arrive from very far away. On the contrary, all the fish we serve is caught in the local area.We look forward to hosting you again and we hope that you will able to appreciate our food without feeling ripped-off, like the vast majority of our customers does, as proven by their reviews and repeat visits, whether they are Italian or foreign, tourist or locals.
