Reviews on Seafood food in Imerovigli, South Aegean, Greece. Imerovigli looks exactly as a Santorini village should: iconic whitewashed buildings with sapphire domes, narrow crisscrossing walking paths, epic sunsets. Set sail on a guided boat tour of nearby volcanic features or spend the day exploring the remains of Skaros, a 13th-century Venetian palace. Cap it all off with a simple but decadent meal of local delicacies.

This is a simple but cosy place, staff are very friendly and takes well care of you.We had a light dinner with grilled shrimps, which was tasty, the restaurant has a great choice of fresh fish.We sat on the edge of waterfront which was very nice in the sunset. It is a bit difficult to reach the old port, cable car is 12⬠each way but there are huge queues when passengers are going to and from the cruise ships, the alternative is to walk climb 600 stairs....

Recommended everything about this fabulous restaurant, including ringing first to book your table else risk having to wait. Service and food all excellent as is the house wine. Reasonably priced too for an otherwise pricey island! So good we went twice.

Magical journey of flavors in a special mediterranean cuisine restaurant, at beautiful Imerovigli in Santorini Island overlooking the deep blue
Easy access while staying in Imerovigli, within minutes' walking distance from several area hotels. The vibe is casual, with friendly service. There are no real views of the caldera from the restaurant, but they were one of the few open for lunch in the immediate area (so we were told). We had the octopus (decently fresh) and moussaka (delicious and hearty, very filing).

Traditional Taverna
Our waiter, Vasili, was excellent and made our meals at the Romantica so enjoyable. His type of customer service is so rare. And the food is EXCELLENT and so reasonably price. Feel safe to have Vasili recommend what's best that day and let him serve you . . . he is excellent.

Visited this restaurant as had been on two previous occasions whilst staying nearby, however I doubt we shall return again as we were disappointed. They didnât have the pork Slovaki which seemed strange, the fish salad we had to start was very poor compared to previous ones we had whilst in Santorini. That said the service was good, but it wouldnât be enough to bring us back

We dinned at Throubi restaurant in the early days of September after seeing photos on the Andronis Exclusive Website. The hotel is spectacular with great architecture. The restaurant could not be an exception to the whole concept. The greeting at the reception was exemplary, all staff smiling.A lady accompanied us to the restaurant.Arriving at the restaurant one can see on their left a magnificent red wine showcase. After that; The ultimate blue! The restaurant is literally on the Caldera, with a pool in the front side but the best thing about it is that it is secluded from the crowded Oia.For starters we chose beef tartare and scallops and for main course pastitsada and beef. The dishes were always served with a smile and in a very professional way.I would also like to pinpoint the sommelier team, which urged us to do premium wine pairing. The wines we tasted were expuisite. The pairing's "concept" was a "battle" between Greek and foreign wines. For dessert we picked lemon tarte with mountain tea. It was the best dessert we had ever eaten.I honestly cannot find the proper words to describe this unique experience. My sincere thanks to all the Throubi staff!Dear Mariliza,Hello from our majestic island and thank you so much for taking the time to post such a wonderful review about Throubi Restaurant on TripAdvisor.Creating unique memories through dining and hospitality is one of our main goals and we are thrilled to read that we managed to accomplish exactly that during your dinner here with us. We booked the meal months before our holiday began to ensure we had the best table in the house. We were greeted warmly by the pleasant receptionist and escorted to the dining area. Our table had been reserved and was indeed the best available. The views from the restaurant are amazing. We timed our visit to coincide with the sun setting ... and it was stunningly perfect. The heaters were welcome when the temperature dropped and the lighting was well thought out.The staff were attentive without being intrusive and were all so friendly and professional. The meal was an absolute delight , washed down with a bottle of champagne â¤ï¸ We would highly recommend Fly Away for that special occasion ... or just because your worth it.Dear Grovesy61,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on TripAdvisor Community! We are so pleased to read that you had an amazing experience with us and you celebrated your 30th anniversary exactly as you dreamed. It is always a blessing to welcome such marvelous guests! Fine dining restaurant FLOGA AND 1800 now united under one management to provide a sensetional gastronomic expireance whith the best sea and volcano view on the island
This is a very small restaurant, I would estimate around 30 person capacity. The first thing we noticed was how attentive the servers were. They checked up on us throughout our meal, refilling drinks and cleaning off our table between courses, and always checking to make sure we enjoyed everything. The menu was a modern take on traditional Greek cuisine. We really enjoyed the mussels appetizer, which was served in a tomato and feta based sauce similar to a mussels saganaki. The difference here was the flair of the dish being served on a flaming dish with a mint jelly on a spoon to pour over the mussels. Absolutely delicious. We also had their bread which tasted fresh and was served with a creamy feta and red pepper dipping sauce which was a great complement to the mussels. We had a spaghetti with prawns and rack of lamb for our main courses. Both of the dishes were plated stylishly and were rich and full of flavor. We had a chocolate souffle for dessert that turned heads at other tables when it was served with a red wine goblet steaming with dry ice that seemed designed to Instagram. We were so pleased with our dinner and the service that we made reservations for the next night as well. Our servers even introduced us to the chef!
