Have never imagined this small hide-away provided such high standard of food and services as one could expect only from a small number of very expensive restaurants in Tokyo. You can enjoy its garden during the meal too. Do not forget to receive the owner's suggestion for the wine.

The only difference to the nearby "Lunch Garden" self-service restaurant is (1) the table service by very friendly staff, (2) the interior decoration and (3) the bill (which is about 3x higher), for the same food on your plate. The spare ribs where from 'den Aldi', steaks were grilled too long (they mixed up our order) and coffee is served without sugar or anything (which they apparently forgot). We will certainly never ever return.Overpriced. Underdelivered.Too bad.

Without any doubt the best musselrestaurant I know. Eat the special recipe of the chef : he won an award with it. As my husband is not a mussellover as I am he has tried other dishes than mussels. They are ok but not as sublime as all the musseldishes.

This is a wonderfull place to have a culinary travel around the world. The servant tells and sells you wines as if she has cultivated them herself. The food is prepared by a humble chef with a great heart for his profession. A discovery as we seldomly find them. Highly recommended.

So sorry to say this but we were there last summer with some friends. We all apreciate good food and a nice atmosphere. The teracce overlooks the parking lot, the service was rude and unexperienced and the food wasn't something to write home about...

We visited Anne-Sophie & her team often in De Kwizien and we were very pleased to experience them doing their own project. And a very nice experience it was! Good symbiosis of kitchen and service. We had the 8-course menu and to be honest, we were sorry not to have taken the 12 courses... because we would have loved to be pleased 4 times more! The kitchen really did a great effort creating all these nice dishes. And theyâve only been open little more than half a year! Curious to see where this could lead them. Also a thumbs up for the maître de service and sommelier Daan who really kept a good overall view and who was perfectly into pace with the kitchen. Served, in his own style, his wines with good knowledge and flair. Canât wait to be back in Hasselt for a second visit!Keep up the good work!!

This is a nice little restaurant near Hasselt. A restrained stylish décor, tempered lounge jazz music, correct and friendly service and most important : good food. We had a 4 course dinner (with a small sorbet between 2nd and 3rd course), prosecco aperitif with appetizers, 1 bottle of tasty white Burgundy wine, 2 bottles of water and coffee for â¬137 for the 2 of us.

A pleasant restaurant with part inside and part under a very good demountable extension. Friendly service. Plenty of adjoining car spaces. The restaurant has a varied menu, my favourite dish being the mussels which are cooked in a sauce of your choice. Served in the metal pot with a pile of fries on the side, in the Belgian tradition. The beefsteak is also very good and even spaghetti eaters and children are catered for! Each day there is a new dish of the day at a reasonable price. Recommended.Closed on Mondays and also closed on Tuesdays out of the summer season.

We are kind of "regulars" in this restaurant because of the good atmosphere, good quality fresh food and the good wine. The chef and his wife, who also serves in the restaurant know what it takes to please the customers. I definitely recomend this place!

Our very nice bartender at Ter Dolen called and made a dinner reservation for us at Enfin. We took his advice and set off down the road to this restaurant we had never heard of. We found ourselves in a small, intimate restaurant full of interesting aromas and cushy white armless chairs. Thankfully, the waitress spoke English, though the menu is certainly only available in Dutch. She helped us choose an appetizer, which was a terrine of sorts. I could make out what a lot of the main options were myself, but we chose to split a dish for two that we could not translate called Côte à lâos, just to see what it was. We made a good move; côte à lâos turned out to be a delicious piece of rare roasted beef served on a bed of roasted vegetables with sweet potato puree alongside delicious Belgian fries and a cheesy béchamel sauce. Though the menu said the dish served two, we could have easily split it four ways. The meal stands out among the very best I had in Belgium. Sure, it took a while to get out, but I could see the chef preparing the whole meal fresh.Later, the waitress brought out her full selection of teas so that I could choose from them myself. She accommodated us so well, even though we could not speak the language and the restaurant probably does not receive a lot of business from tourists. I would highly recommend this restaurant to any folks traveling from Achel or Ter Dolen to Brussels.
