New ownership apparently. The service and food were both outstanding. Iâd come back again and quickly!Four of us dined. We had duck, fish of the day, shrimp and grits and the best Reuben sandwich I ever had. The food was fresh and tasty. Food very reasonably priced. Service was outstanding. The owner was the cook so the food quality is outstanding. Support your local restaurants! Thanks for a great meal!

I live close by and rent dock space at the marina here, so I do go in to eat fairly often. The staff, waitstaff and bar tenders are always friendly and usually offer quick service. This is a place with many daily, regulars, but still makes one feel welcome. You can eat inside or out, and most tables allow one to view the monkeys while dining.The daily specials are very good and it is a good place for families, couples, boaters (boat docking available), singles or get togethers.

There's no bar service on the second floor...the second floor has the best view of Monkey Island. Monkey Island provides interesting photo-ops.The first floor bartender on duty when we were there was Jennifer L who was friendly and accommodating. Drink prices are reasonable

Off the beaten path, on the water. Boat or drive up. Great outdoor dining area. Spacious inside. The service, meh... the waitress not very friendly. But food came relatively quick. Coconut shrimp, large shrimp with orange marmalade type sauce. Had the pepper grinder burger., very good as well. They cole slaw was the best Iâve EVER had. All the dipping sauces were homemade and delicious. Sirloin steak and skirt steak dish, excellent as well Highly recommend.

My friend and I went here recently and got a couple sandwiches. When we received them, we were surprised how small they were for $12.00 each.They are the size of a sandwich you would get on a fast food value menu. They were accompanied with three small pickle slices, and two small slivers of watermelon. The sandwiches were very good in taste, but in my opinion, not $12.00 good. I'm 250 pounds. I want a meal. Not a snack.The lady running the place was very nice. I wish them success. This is my Honest review.We appreciate your feedback and will look at our portions, however please know these are not just sandwiches they are seafood items subject to market prices, Fresh hand cut Fish Fillet and handmade Shrimp burger with fresh local produce. Feel free to compare similar items and sizes in the riverfront area as well as other items on our menu. We look forward to satiating you completely in the future.

What a nice find. First, the food was so good, I had the shrimp & chips and my husband had the grilled chicken sandwich and both were outstanding. Hot, crisp fries were great, keep that as it is so hard to find them without having to ask. Shrimps was the same hot & crisp, the grilled chicken moist & flavorful not over salty-my husband can pick up on too much salt in foods. And we noted that afterwards, did not have that thirst after an hour so yea! But great service, beautiful view, relaxing. We went mid-week and it was perfect, an overcast day and low temps made the experience perfect. I would not want to go when there'd be a lot of people on a hot, steamy day but with the flexibility we have to go, we had a terrific time. We walked about the property after lunch and it was so nice. The ladies room was so clean & new as well as the property itself, fresh, clean a real nice waterside spot to enjoy. Will be bringing friends that visit here when asked for that waterside eating experience.

Very clean, quick friendly service, reasonable prices. We had whole belly clam appetizer (13.99) awesome and as we spend summers in New England we are tough to please.Fried Grouper dinner served with home made onion rings ( 19.99) upcharge for onion rings was excellent. 20 steamed Cedar Key clams were in an excellent article butter sauce. Order a side of rice or bread, you donât want to waste a drop of the sauce.The only real disappointment was the New England clam chowder. Not a super amount of clams and a bit heavy on the thickening agent.Will return.
