Restaurant Au Bout du Monde is located in the seaside of Hango Roa. Furnishings and decoration provide a pleasant atmosphere. Service is friendly. The restaurant offers French-Belgian cuisine with local quality food and Chilean wines. We came on a weekday and the restaurant was quiet, a so-so sign. We went for a mussel soup and a sirloin with shrimps accompanied with a good Chilean merlot. The food was well presented and the sirloin of good quality and tasty. The mussel soup was a total disaster. Instead of a soup we were presented a small bowl of moules marinières with some onion rings and served in its cooking liquid.Restaurant Au Bout de Monde is relatively pricey and a good place for anyone who doesnât care about value for money. Stay away from the mussel soup!

Had fish and chips and a very strong pisco sour! Chips were good - fish less so. Rather tasteless. They have quite noisy patrons here so itâs lively. Efficient service but fairly basic decor and tables with a sea view. Not special but ok.

We ate at the Dominican Restaurant twice while in Easter Island. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the same thing twice and the second time it came prepared differently from how I had asked, so they took it back with no complaints and brought it back right. Like everywhere else we ate on the island, it took a lot longer than I am accustomed to for the food to come out, but, as I indicated, this was the case everywhere we ate. Just be advised that if you get grumpy like me when you don't eat on time, you should budget extra time for everything to be prepared at all restaurants on the island. Location was great.

Te Moana is a full-service restaurant that offers Polynesian cuisine of the highest quality and hospitality characteristic of the area in a sophisticated atmosphere .
We literally just walked into this place after going for an evening stroll at sunset and were pleased to be seated immediately before the sun had gone down completely. Surprisingly, this was the only restaurant where we encountered other Yanks on Easter Island. The restaurant was more full than any of the others we'd eaten at on Easter Island and service lagged a bit because of that (I think they might have been understaffed that night). Didn't really matter what with the sunset and all. The steaks we ordered were cooked perfectly and were very generous in size, making the place a fair value for the diner. Wine was inexpensive (as it is everywhere in Chile) and tasty.

WELCOME TO KANAHAU. We are located on the main street of Hanga Roa - Easter Island. We offer a delicate and tasty food with a lot of creativity : Seafood, fishes, pastas, meat... Our bar offer the largest choice of cocktails, alcohols, and wines of all th
This restaurant is on the main street. It also offers a folkloric show a few nights during the week. Their menu is extensive and I had the tuna which was very good, but I had the distinct feeling it was yesterdayâs tuna and not that fresh. With a lemonade and a bottle of water, the price came to 33,000 pesos (approx. $44.) This is one of the first things you learn about Rapa Nui -- it is not inexpensive!Food at higher-end restaurants like this one is imaginatively prepared, with good, professional service.

First night on the island, we were recommended here. After traveling for the last 4 months, we wanted some "comfort food" to ordered a pizza. BEST PIZZA we have had in years! Better than anything back home!Went back and ordered several seafood meals (over two visits). While we were not all that keen on the "fried fish," the "mar y tierra" was absolutely fantastic.

We enjoyed a very nice meal on the amazing Easter Island, at Makona. Iâd been in email communication with Alejandra for a couple of months to reserve a table for my partnerâs birthday. The meal was delicious; the beers were too and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere as we shared the company of other holiday makers there too. A special birthday dessert was given to us which was a nice touch. Would well recommend the restaurant and its lovely staff.

We booked this before hand since the sunsets were supposed to be quite nice overlooking the Moai at Ahu Tahai. We had a table by the window. Service was a bit slow but the food was good but not exceptional. Service was ok for service since we were in no hurry but there was a very irate gentleman next to us who was very unhappy. It is a bit of a way to go but worth it and it is easier if you have a car.Would recommend it.
