Find out what Seafood restaurants to try in Hammamet. Sunbathing, al fresco dining and late-night discos are a way of life in Hammamet, the Tunisian St-Tropez. Located on the fertile Cap Bon Peninsula, about 40 miles south of Tunis, the bayfront resort is surrounded by verdant hills and citrus groves. When not basking on Hammamet Beach, browse the markets for local pottery or wander through the medina (old city) with walls that date to 1500. Summer brings festival fever to the city with plenty of music and theatrical offerings.

A very good value restaurant in a good location with attentive , professional staff and good food. The resort was quiet but this restaurant always had plenty of customers. We ate here 3 times as it had a great atmosphere and our server Ahmed was a delight, full of fun but always ready with suggestions for our meal. I had the seafood spaghetti which was a starter but could have served 2 as a main.!! The fish soup was also delicious.

Walked past this place a few times and decided to give it a go and was pleasantly surprised. The menu wasnât the widest of choice but there was enough to chose from to have a good mealWe chose the local specialty of âbrickâ, which is basically filo pastry with a filling and an egg, deep fried and their version of moulds mariniere. Both were delicious and the muscles portion was huge! Both went for the filet with Gorgonzola which was equally delicious.Service was attentive, with the waiter spontaneously busting out into song!Reasonably priced and well worth a visit

Delicious food, great service, excellent prices. We had dinner here on our first evening here. We sat indoors, though others with warmer clothes sat outdoors. Service was very courteous, friendly and helpful, though for some, their English was a bit limited. We ate steak and fish, followed by a scrumptious almond flavoured gateau. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and deliciously wholesome! £20 per person. Great value for money.

Very nice food. The people are lovely. They are doing their job very well. The food quality is wonderful. I can assure you that you cannot eat like there anywhere in Tunisia.

We visited this restaurant just by a coincidence and loved what we ate. Then we went there again. Everything, including the atmosphere, the hospitality and of course the food! Thanks for the amazing food and wine. Try sorbet colonel, mousse and creme caramel as dessert.

Went here to take my girlfriend out for a special evening, and was definitely the right choice of restaurant. Everything was just perfect. The setting of the restaurant, the outside terrace, the chilled atmosphere, the service and food were all top notch. We were made to feel very special, and the menu was amazing. It is more weighted towards seafood, which we both had for starters, but we both ended up ordering two different steaks, and boy was I glad I did. One of the best steaks in bernaise sauce I have ever eaten! It was superb. Although we ate outside on the terrace, as it was a lovely warm evening, the inside of the restaurant looked really nice, and very tastefully decorated to make you feel that you are in a very nice restaurant. I'm gutted that we weren't in Tunisia longer, as we would have loved to have gone back. Would definitely recommend for couples. Great night out, with a romantic setting, awesome food, and very well priced too. We also ate at Le Berberouse, but we both agreed that barring the view, we both much preferred Le Voilier!! If I ever go back to Hammamet, I would definitely eat here again!

We came here on our last night after being recommended by our hotel. Found staff all very friendly, especially with our four year old daughter. Although there wasnât any child menus to choose from they did do us a small dish of plain pasta for her. We had 2 fillet steaks & a bottle of red. Steak was cooked medium rare as requested & served with a jacket Potato, which made a pleasant change to the hotel food. After our meal we were treated to a sorbet & a damson shot complimentary. They then even ordered us a taxi on them, after us paying 7td to get there. Which is still a great price! Had a lovely evening all for about £33. Bargain!

Sadly this is the only negative review I have had to write for a restaurant in Yasmine Hammamet. We tried to order the cheapest wine on the menu (which we have had elsewhere and is actually pretty good) and were told it was out of stock. The next one up was 40 TDN but the waiter said that wasnât a good wine and recommended one that was 56 TDN. This was way out of budget so I said no and ordered the 44 TDN bottle. The bill came and we had been charged 56 TDN. I queried this and it turned out this was the wine we had been given but clearly we had not realised and it must have been a deliberate act on the part of the waiter. He then basically emotionally blackmailed us saying it was âonlyâ 12 TDN and he would have to pay this if we didnât. We ended up paying it but not leaving a tip which would roughly be the same but left a very bad taste in the mouth. Such a shame as the food and ambience were fine but I cannot condone blatant dishonesty therefore would recommend you steer clear of this restaurant. bonjour nous sommes vraiment désolé pour la mauvaise expérience que vous avez subi ce n'est pas du tout la politique de notre restaurant est ce que vous pouvez nous donner des informations sur votre serveur pour y remédier nous serons heureux de vous recevoir pour vous offrir un apéritif à très bientôt

If you are looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful near the medina, this place would be worth a look. Wide choice of food, including grills, pasta and pizzas, and it was certainly cheap. Eight of us had dinner for about £30.

Wonderful menu French and Tunisian style foods. Great selection of delicious Tunisian wines.Best of all are the views from this restaurant. There is unhurried service and well worth a visit. Only problem there are about 40 or so very steep stairs to negotiate and a quite narrow stone staircase. However we both loved the food and wine here.Booking is essential as it is incredibly popular.
