Really a great place. We came a bit early and had to wait 30 min till they start (19:30). We were offered bread, olive oil, cheese and focaccia. Together with a bottle of good wine it wasn't a hard waiting. We had pasta carbonara and saltimbocca (specialty by chef). It was one of the best carbonara past I've tried. Stuff was vey friendly, overall it was great family atmosphere. And the price was more than acceptable. Highly suggested especially if you're tired after famous villas.Grazie mille a prestoSandrina

I have been in this restaurant with some friends for dinner. It was really difficult to find this restaurant that is located close to a sort of highway and with a signboard really insufficient.There is a large own parking and a large internal space with a separate room. The staff is professional and friendly. I ate fish dishes and the several different entrees was very excellent as was excellent frying. About the first courses, was abundant but with several flaws, such as gnocchi with shrimp sauce, a very risky combination, in my opinion, an unfortunate choice, since the potatoes of gnocchi have completely absorbed the sauce; while the second course of pasta, a calamarata clams, had its proper credit. Unfortunately, the plate of different fish roasted, has not had the same luck. The taste anonymous and equal for all four types served made this dish really not tasty. This restaurant can definitely improve but at the moment I think it is really modest.

Perched aside the ruins of Temple Sybilie, this is fabulous restaurant. Wood burning ovens, and 1,700 year old wisteria adds to its unique charm. The wine person was great/knowledgeable as well. A highlight of our trip to Tivoli.

This restaurant is very small , can fit up to 20 people and each person is getting individual attention . Attention to details , food decor and presentation are amazing! No menu in English but chef himself will describe each dish in English and will assist with wine pairing. Fresh warm croissants for breakfast to go was the cutest touch ! Pls reserve table ahead of time and enjoy !

After a day of visit at Villa D'Este and Villa Adriana and a cool shower at the hotel we were hungry. We knew it was a bit early by Italian standards so we walked. A short distance from our hotel we came upon this restaurant with tables outside. At first we hesitated, but there were a few couples having dinner, so we said why not. Now this is not a sterling silver and fine china restaurant but the food - only fish - was excellent and the staff more than welcoming. The great part came later when Italian couples and one group came in and we were immersed in Italy. When the locals flock to a restaurant you are in a good restaurant for sure. We had a great time at a good price: 35 Euros including a bottle of wine and two beers.

We stumbled across Bona Dea by complete chance on a day out from Rome in Tivoli. We had a delicious lunch - the best pasta of our holiday: seafood linguine. And a wonderful home made dessert too.

We were so hungry after coming in on the red eye, we picked Theoâs out of a list of places. We were not disappointed! Freshest sauce Iâve ever tasted and they were kind enough to let us order pizza a little early. We will come back!!

I will start with a good one. their food was awesome. I really wanted to have seafood. Grilliata di pesce (grilled fish) was very good. The aperitivo di mare was very good too. the only thing I didnât like was the wine. red wine was not good. White wine was not good either. both of them were local Wines but you can ask for a different one. Credit card didnât work.

If it is good enough for Pink Floyd it is good enough for you. Good food, fair prices and outstanding service. My wife and I were there 2 Nov and we're pleased to find English spoken and the most helpful staff. We had salad, pasta and wine all good. The pizza look great and can't wait to try it.
