This restaurant is in a lovely spot for water views and outside dining. The food was very good. We enjoyed the octopus and calamari appetizers to start. I had the roast chicken and my husband had the Bronzino. Both entrees were delicious. My mother's lobster roll was dry but ample meat. Service was spotty but most likely due to the beautiful weather bringing unexpected crowds. We will return in the summer for sure.Thank you so much! We're so glad you enjoyed everything while you were here. We regret to hear about your mother's Lobster Roll, we would have happily fixed this for you! We can't wait to see you again soon!

Limaniâs Sunday Four Course Prix Fixe Dinner is out of this world!Spectacular food, flavor, service, value....Limani has integrity and honor! Excellent portions.....beautiful sides.....food prepared perfectly with style and verve! What a blessing.....the Ancient Greeks are smiling, and they are proud! As they should be....Danny, the Captain, is a consummate restaurant professional: friendly, smart, warm, helpful. Unusual person, and huge asset to the firm.My only regret is that Trip Advisor does not have a Six Star Rating. Limani is, indeed, over the top. We are fortunate to have them!

Open just three weeks, the Boat House, under a previous owner, was known as "The Hideaway". It's located in the Brewer Yacht Yard.
The boat house is a nice waterfront setting in Glen Cove. Easy to get to and easy parking. Nice simple deck overlooking the boat basin. Lunch time food was good but not great.

Each entree was delicious! Raves for the Roasted Corn Bisque, Filet Mignon and Halibut. Dessert was exceptional also. Give Thyme a try if your are looking for Diner dining with fabulous food. Tables are often set in dark corners, awkwardly arranged next to a staircase or opening doors. Walls are bare. Difficult to chat with your table guests because of noise intensity. Waiters are well meaning but unskilled at serving. Dinner plates were served by reaching across the table and our laps. Our table waited for water glasses to be filled and our drink order to be taken. We missed a more attentive staff and a relaxed atmosphere.

We are located on a beautiful golf course in Glen Cove.
The place has some great atmosphere, nice views overlooking the golf course and the water. Chef Janine is well respected in the community. BUT.... The service is quite poor and the food is very inconsistent. Donât even bother with the snack shack outside the restaurant the older woman there has no personality and and a very thick accent. You are destined to get a stale moldy roll with your egg sandwich or your hamburgerWe are sorry in your opinion you feel our service is slow and our food is inconsistent, we have just celebrated six years and I am really proud of our food we serve and our staff. We book many parties as well as having many return customers, and really feel we have been doing a great job. as for the snack shack I really feel a accent should not make a difference. We live in a country were there are many different accents, The snack bar is a convenience for the golfers, if theres a problem I would have hoped someone would have reached out to me. But I can certainly garentee you it will be looked into Again thank you for you feedbackSincerely Jeanine and Fred DiMenna

The Voutsinas Family would like to welcome you to the Glen Cove Diner.â We are family owned and operated with decades of experience in the food industry. We are here to bring you a variety of assorted Greek Cuisines mixed with traditional American Dishes.
came here on Sunday around 12:30 to have breakfast place was crowded. staff friendly but service was very slow. I thought a bit expensive had two eggs, bacon, toast and homefries $10.95. The homefries were fried potatoes, doesn't anyone make homefries with onions, peppers, a bit of bacon fat anymore? Four people Bill was $53.00 we all had breakfast and coffee only. The young lady at the register was very charming, just saying.

Now it's called Tokyo Sushi. Never been to Tokyo. Would presume the sushi is better there. Pretty awful. Had take out so can't comment on service at the restaurant. But food was delayed about 15min after promised to be ready on line. Salmon was noticeably fishy, as was spicy tuna roll. Vegetarian rolls (sweet potato, spinach, squash) also not tasty. The sweet potato tempura roll even tasted fishy-- I suspect same dry oil used for shrimp tempura, fried calamari etc. Not expected and not good. The tuna, fluke, and yellowtail pieces were ok. Nothing special. Fish:rice ratio okay. 007 roll and Ba Ba Bom roll not as good as I remembered. With many other options to choose from I see no reason to go back.

Escape to Greece at Vilai. Glen Cove's newest Greek Mediterranean Seafood restaurant, located just steps away from the LIRR. Upon arrival you are greeted and welcomed "like family" by the owner and staff. Featuring an extensive winelist, creamy whipped sp
Totally underwhelming. Went on a weeknight. Service good, but loud music inhibited table conversation. High prices puts very little on the plate. Black Sea Bass for 2 was $58. Could barely feed 1. Lobster Risotto was $19, consisting of a bowl of risotto and very small bits of lobster. They even charge $9 for tzatziki, where often at places like this itâs complementary. This being Glen Cove, I give it 1 year tops. Then donât be surprised when the losses pile up, it closes and another restaurant takes itâs place.

Place is a scene on a Thursday night. All absolutely beautiful people...must be singles scene. Very loud though. The lamb shank was really good. And the giaganta beans were really great. Great service. Always a good place, but Thursdays are packed. Fun people watching

Oh, where have you been and how come I have just recently found you??!!! Real, old world Italian Restaurant with food that any foodie would drool over. Service is outstanding from filling water glasses to making sure every need it met without hovering. They start you with a basket of garlic bread smothered in garlic and crispness. Then a plate of cheese, olives and sliced meat are served. And we have not even ordered yet! Two of us had the shrimp fra diavolo (one was gluten free) and both were spectacular! The branzino was cooked to moist perfection and the veal marsala melted in your mouth. We were all members of the clean plate club-it was that good!
