Finally a great outdoor restaurant in the heart of Giarre on Corso Italia! Chiacchiri e Muddica is ideally positioned in a small piazza near the top of the Corso and the night time ambience is great. The food is fresh, large portions, and very reasonably priced. They have a great drink menu as well. The food is a fusion take on classic Sicilian specialities such as fried mixed fish, swordfish burgers, classic beef burger, grilled ham and cheese, etc. We have eaten their four times already and family of four can easily eat and drink for less than $40. They open in the late afternoon so it is also a good place for an aperitivo Italiano! The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and the owner is very helpful. We are so happy that Chiacchiri e Muddica has arrived.

My family and I enjoyed an excellent meal here. There is no menu here - the only rule is that everything is seafood. The owners' English is limited, but he made every effort to make himself understood, at times bringing samples from the kitchen, or using Google to provide translations! The food was nothing short of brilliant - we had antipasto, primi and secondi courses which were all cooked to perfection, and the fish was clearly very fresh indeed. The owner was able to offer various options for the kids and had high chairs available. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the hotel in the same premises of this restaurant, and went here for having dinner. Since it was early Monday night, there was only us as a guest. Table were situated at outdoor, but separated from road heat/noise. Table was very spacious and easy to have meal with our small child. Dishes were very elegant style and tasted good. Price was also in not expensive level. Dear Ryota, thank you for your wonderful review!We are glad that you enjoyed our Restaurant and we hope to see you again!

We asked Josephe for Pasta dish, he recommended on pasta con fungi and past con sardine, both dishes was GREAT!! Very tasty. Not expensive at all!! We had just the most delicious and incredible New Yearâs dinner in this very typical and local fish restaurant.Full of families, from grandparents to new born babies, the ambiance was charming, simple, and the food was so good, abundant and well prepared. A never ending suite of plates one richer than the other, in a warm and friendly atmosphere, even if we were the only foreigners there.We highly recommend this place and thank the owner for the perfect ambiance. One exception to the fish, just before midnight: lentils and sausage... which we could hardly eat but: lentils bring you money for the next year if you eat them just before midnight....so we did it!

Ate here twice in a 2-night stay at the incredible Ramo DâAria hotel behind it.Lovely ambience. Good (if slightly unhealthy) food. Very popular place so, even though there are a lot of tables, get here early as we noticed a big queue going out the door both nights after around 8:30pm.

We came for lunch to this tiny fresh fish eatery. I love fresh fish, and my palate was deeply satisfied! Fabio greeted us immediately, and advised us to get an assortment of Antipasti Freddi. We were presented with an assortment of traditionally prepared sardine dishes, octopus, salmon, tuna curry with couscous, to name a few. Then some baby teeny tiny shrimp prepared crispy, which you were to pop whole on your mouth. Deeelicious. Then some hot clams, and then some pasta with clams and some other assorted fishes. I had had the fish of the day, fresh tuna grilled in leaves, while another in our party had calamari. We were presented with a side of eggplant with this. Fabio, the owner-chef treated us like family. We felt so well taken care of! I never will forget the amazing food and the special attention from Fabio and his wife. This place is unforgettable. If you are in Giarre, be sure to visit Gnam Gnam!

We went to lunch before the beach. Then we came back for dinner and the next day! Of the waiters, Frenkiet should be highlighted, but everyone is kind. Good quality food nice environment! I can only recommend.
