Reviews on Seafood food in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. Fort Lauderdale’s canals and charm have earned it the nickname “The Venice of America.” The beaches offer 23 miles of golden sand, lively with the spirited antics of happy vacationers. Sail the blue-green waters on a chartered catamaran, or dive beneath the surface to meet-and-greet the local sea life. Shopping and dining al fresco on Las Olas Boulevard is one of Fort Lauderdale’s greatest pleasures, thanks to adorable shops and prime people-watching.

OCEAN2000, is the Pelican Grand Beach Resort's new Fort Lauderdale waterfront restaurant. The menu features new American fare, and offers diners an alternative to other upscale Ft Lauderdale restaurants.
A good price for Bruch bc it was all fresh foods in a beautiful setting, right on the sand! INCLUDES the unlimited mimosa, bellini or make your own bloody mary drink. Lot's of choices including desserts. I gave it a 4 bc the room was a bit too warm, they should chill it down in the evening before they use it. You can sit outside as well.

Buzzy, casual eatery with Japanese & Peruvian fare, including sushi & ceviche, sautéed Peruvian specialties and original handcrafted cocktails.
We arrived before opening due to confusion regarding Veteran's Day operating hours. When the manager politely asked us to come back in half an hour, we explained that we'd booked a river cruise and would have to go elsewhere. He told us to have a seat outdoors and not to worry. A waitress materialized with menus, napkins and silverware and in no time we were served a delicious lunch. The causas (three chicken, three tuna) were out of this world, and the aji de gallina was so amazing I've ordered the spices so I can make it myself! My companions, locals who had been to SuViche before, raved about their saltado and sushi. This was a fine example of a restaurant manager going the extra mile and he and his staff deserve praise. Fabulous lunch and we made our cruise with time to spare!

Urbanspoon has the restaurant on their website.
We opted for a seafood dinner and walked over to the complex of restaurants. The Oyster Bar is connected to the Coconuts Restaurant, both located behind the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel. There is a big parking lot here, for guests' convenience. We came on a weekend night, around 7pm, and were lucky to immediately find a table here. The Oyster Bar is less of a wait than Coconuts. We opted for the delicious lobster bisque which came with a healthy serving of lobster claw meat. The fresh and the fried oysters were delectable. The lobster BLT, served on texas toast was incredible, as was the fried sole, with delicious cheesy crab topping. The drinks were tasty here as well.We loved our food and service was attentive, but the price tag is high, $80-100/person for dinner.

Surprisingly in a city like Fort Lauderdale there are very few waterfront restaurants and even fewer decent ones! This is in my top 2-3. Great bar area, great menu, service, food and ambience.

Coconut is an institution in Fort Lauderdale⦠Located on the intracoastal and only a block from the beach. My friend and I got a table on the water and enjoy the smoked fish dip, a grilled mahi sandwich, and some wonderful tropical drinks! The service was impeccable and it is a very enjoyable experience that I would definitely recommend!

We loved our dinner at Casablanca Cafe! The ceviche appetizer was excellent. Same goes for the focaccia bread served with pesto olive oil. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our entrees of crab encrusted mahi and shrimp scampi with linguini. The fish was definitely fresh. Dinners were served hot. Cheri, our server was truly professional! Nice ambiance! Highly recommended!
