Had reservations for large party, was excited to show friends Woods Hole. Took 45 minutes to get a drinks, orders were incorrect and manager was incredibly rude & ill-equipped at adult customer service. Plenty of delicious options in Woods Hole and Falmouth, it's too bad this place has ruined itself for a large group of us after poor experiences. If you're going to charge mid-market prices, staff appropriately and instill the importance of customer service and general etiquette.

Josh's was a lovely dinner date. The place is quite small and was full but we took a "high top" which worked out fine. The wine list was OK but could have used more top shelf varieties. The glass we got was huge (about 2 ordinary glasses). We started sharing a platter of roasted veggies which were perfect. My partner's entree pasta was a bit too al dente but very tastey. My sole was perfect with mashed potatoes. We did not have desert. Our waitress was sweet and kept a good eye on us. In all, I would definitely recommend this one and look forward to returning.

This location is in a short strip mall kind off the beaten track. It reminds me of a bar room. The only thing I got there was the over priced lobster roll. Not interested in going back

We visited the Flying Bridge on the first night of our stay in Falmouth - the restaurant was very quiet; perhaps due to the time of year and the lousy weather. Our server was polite and efficient but not particularly friendly. When he cleared our entree plates and we said we didnât want anything else he immediately produced the check from his apron pocket. Perhaps he had it there on spec but it came across that he wanted to get rid of us as soon as possible. The staff probably outnumbered the customers whilst we were there so there was a lot of leaning, phone checking and chatting going on, really not good.I should say though that our meals were excellent.

Landfall Restaurant is Woods Hole's premiere waterfront restaurant since 1946 with spectacular oceanfront dining and fresh local cuisine.
Visited here with some out-of-town guests and had a wonderful dinner! Had a reservation so were seated promptly, and service though out the meal was very good. Great menu - we all opted for seafood choices, and they were all delicious! While we avoid Woods Hole during summers months, we'll definitely return here in off-season.

The food was wonderful -- simple, delicious, New England diner food. But, the staff, at least the morning we were there, literally avoided making eye contact and did so much other seemingly unnecessary stuff since the restaurant wasn't full nor was anyway waiting -- like clearing tables, moving chairs around, tidying up -- before even seating us. Then they had to be called over to take a drink order. And the first eye we caught said she'd send her colleague over, who then did a few more little things before approaching us. Never saw her again until she dropped off the food. Bummer, since the food really was good.

We were told they were the best lobster rolls in Massachusetts....flavorless, mayonnaise, celery and we asked for some garlic butter and they didn't have that and didn't know what we meant....very disappointed and wish we would have ordered something else.

Lobster chowder was excellent. Main courses were fine, not wonderful. Could use some updating/sprucing up. Nice to watch the comings and goings of the island ferries.Dear Anony M - Thank you for your thoughtful review. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the chowder and views of the ferry. We appreciate your feedback regarding other elements of your visit and will address your concerns as we launch our seasonal fall menu next week. Water Street Kitchen serves seasonally inspired cuisine and hand crafted cocktails in a cozy, historic dining room on the waterfront in Woods Hole.
My brother and I were guests last night at WSK--we have a fabulous server, Trisha. She was fun, knowledgeable and efficient. The food was outstanding--Cioppino and Scallops--their Chess Pie as a finish was also wonderful.A great place to go, and you will love it--on the water too!

BEST CHOWDER IN NEW ENGLAND FROM YANKEE MAGAZINE, BEST CHOWDER 2015 from CAPE & ISLANDS MAGAZINE, MV MAGAZINE and winner of the 2015 MV CHOWDER CONTEST!! - Copper and mahogany grace our nautically chic dining room creating a casual-fine dining atmosphere.
The chowder was perfectly madeâright amount of salt, perfectly cut potatoes, perfectly diced clams. My husband had the lobster roll and I had shrimp cocktail. Not the best shrimp cocktail Iâve ever had, but not bad. The lobster roll was delicious. They have a really good bar with great drink selectionsâwines, beers, vodkas, and tequilas. Checked out the loft upstairs and it was hopping. We left to get Backdoor Donuts, but would return to play darts, pool, etc. Great place.
