This is a relatively new restaurant in Encinitas that I've been stopping at to get more sea food in my diet, especially omega 3s like Salmon. There's a variety of toppings that you can get included in your poki bowl, many of those are free and some have an extra charge such as avocado. It doesn't take very long to work with the store clerks to build your own Poki Bowl.I like this as a healthy stopping place.

Traditional Japanese sushi bar. Stick to the sushi and you'll be so happy! This is not an Americanized Asian fusion eatery like the ones you see all over San Diego. If you are looking for a quiet, no frills but incredible culinary experience, go to Blue Fin!

The sushi was good, but I felt like it was a little overpriced. $12 for a roll seemed a little expensive. The service was quick and the restaurant was clean. We had a group of 9 and they seated us promptly without a reservation.

The ingredients are fresh and the prep is homemade. Generous portions. Grilled fish tacos with very fresh chunky garnish and chicken enchilada with chunks of fresh roasted chicken in yum sauce. Not bland like food at so many Mexican food chains. Lucky to have this in my neighborhood. Next time will try something from their burrito menu or garlic shrimp platter.

We happened upon HapiFish. Watched the chefs in action for a while, we sat at the bar, which was perfect- under the fan and lights. The presentation was wonderful- see photos. We shared three rolls- and were more than satisfied- and great saki. The bartender was knowledgeable and so helpful in our selections.

Lobster West is a family-owned restaurant ideal for individuals, couples, families, friend gatherings or larger groups of people!
This is a great option for New England style seafood in San Diego (lobster rolls, chowder, etc). The lobster roll was delicious. The bread was perfectly buttery, crispy, and soft. There was a good amount of lobster inside the roll, which was cold, but can be warmed on request. Price is pretty much in on par with other lobster roll places I've been to. You order at the counter, and can sit inside or outside.

OK, so this is a bit of a chain and part of a huge food organization, but they have their thing down, from the valet park to the perky service. Terrific views on the beach. And our food was really good. We shared a poke bowl, which can be kind of a cliche, but was fresh and clean and not overly mixed. From the edame to the cucumber, seaweed, pickled ginger, tuna and even the crusted shell it was quite good. Perhaps a bit under seasoned, but that was appreciated. We each had one of the fish dishes with vegetables and rice. Each were good and well cooked. One was blackened and one simply prepared with a little olive oil. Both good. Vegetables terrific. We had raspberry sorbet for dessert which was tasty, but to be fair had a bit of ice in it. The sunset was magnificent.

From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, we were continuously pleased by everything we ordered. Cool funky little space, all windows looking towards the coast, a nice big bar and a sweet little deck await whatever type of visit youâre looking for. Frederico took amazing care of us at the bar, helped us make solid decisions while offering up others on his own. Literally everything from the fresh bread and garlic tomato dipping sauce at the start to our entrees and wine selection were superb. Weâll definitely be back for a quick bite at the coast. Ciao!

Now on the ocean in Cardiff, PCG is a hip and artistic trip for your senses. Feast on extraordinary Pacific Coast Cuisine in visually stunning surroundings. The Pacific Coast Grill is a place to see and be seen and most of all, to enjoy.
Classic California restaurant full of entitled millennials to serve you. Arrived in the valet lot only to find and Iâm noxious attendant that âwelcomed usâ to the restaurant. We came to go to the upstairs bar but that was not open on a Saturday afternoon. We were Crammed into the dark, cold downstairs area as they probably didnât have enough employees to work the full restaurant⦠Hereâs the good news the ice was cold and so was the beer. We ordered a roll that had questionable texture on the raw fish. Not very flavorful⦠Deciding not to order additional items seem to irritate the waiter. Upon our decision to leave the valet attendant helped three different patrons that were behind us in line before they helped us. It then took over 15 minutes to bring my vehicle from some lot elsewhere. As a parting gift the valet obnoxiously asked for a tip. Overrated and entitled when there are many other places to go.

I like this chilled place served by friendly and nice young people. It's relaxed. I chose an seat outside on highway 101.Fish burrito was filled with tasty fish with crunchy skin, avocado, rice and beans. It was enough for 2 persons. I took the remains home for a midnight snack.Fish tacos are superb with a tangy and spicy sauce and plenty of veggies. One of my favorite tacos
