Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place, despite many of the positive reviews. The service was painfully slow, our server barely came to our table to refill drinks, never asked how our food was and was all around unattentive. I ordered the shrimp scampi and had to send it back - it was oily and tasteless. I never send food back and will usually "suffer" through an undesirable meal, but given the price we were paying, I was not about to do that. I ended up not eating dinner as I am always hesitant to order another meal after sending food back. My kids said that the calamari appetizer was good, but that wast he extent of it. We would not return.

We were looking for boiled lobsters and stumbled upon this place. This place is definitely not fancy at all but the boiled lobster was DELICIOUS! we ordered 3 lobsters for 3 adults, but it was so good that we had to order 3 more. Mac and Cheese is not that great though... stick to the seafood!

Visited while on vacation at the resort across the street. Very good seafood, and we liked the vintage restaurant/steakhouse vibe. Our waiter was a young college age guy, one of the best waiters we've had in years. Great evening out. Would go there again if ever in Dennis Port.

Clancyâs was a very pleasant surprise. My first and only time at Clancyâs was over five years ago for brunch, and my wife and I came away very disappointed, saying âNever again.â Well, âneverâ only lasted five years, and this time I was having dinner with our daughter, Stefanie.I called to make a reservation and was told, âDonât take reservations for small parties. Just come in. Youâll be OKâ. Since was a Tuesday in September, I figured it really would be OK, but when I arrived at 6:20 â a little ahead of Stefanie â I found the restaurant full, with only table tops in the bar available. Then I had another small surprise when a party of two left, and I wanted to be seated at the vacated table by a window overlooking Swan River. Thereâs a small sign behind the receptionist that says, âSeating done only when the full party is presentâ. Fortunately, the receptionist did let me be seated by myself, and Stefanie arrived shortly afterwards.Stefanie and I got our drinks, a Bombay Gin & Tonic for her and a glass of Frei Brothers Russian River Chardonnay for me, and we settled in to catch up on things, with no rush to order dinner.Another surprise was the extensive menu that includes Regular Menu, Dinner Specials, and a Three Course Menu that is served only on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Being there on a Tuesday, the Three Course Menu was available, and it has six entrees all costing just $20. This was very tempting, especially looking at the Pork Schnitzel (Pork loin pounded, breaded and fried topped with bacon herb butter ~ with mashed potato and vegetable medley) and Seafood Mac and Cheese (Scallop, salmon and one jumbo shrimp, penne blended with four cheese sauce ~ topped with Ritz cracker crumbs).We both passed on the tempting Three Course Menu and went a laâ carte.For dinner, Stefani ordered a small Caesar Salad (Crisp romaine, garlic butter croutons, Caesar dressing and parmesan cheese) with the Grilled Salmon as a topping, and before I go any further, let me say that it was a very good-sized portion of grilled Salmon filet, thus making this small salad a substantial entrée (for me). There was no leftover on Stefanieâs plate when we finished.I ordered the Grilled Reuben (Fresh corned beef, sauerkraut, Russian dressing and swiss cheese on marble rye), which came with the prerequisite French fries. I always enjoy a good Reuben, and this one was no exception, but like almost every dinner out, I took half of it home, and it is dinner tonight.As I said up front, âClancyâs was a very pleasant surpriseâ and it is definitely going to get another visit in the near future.

One of our favorite places on the Cape. Good food, great drinks & lively bar scene. Plenty of parking, great wait staff but double check your reservation as they see to lose them. Called 2 weeks in advance, spoke to Kristie but no record on arrival. Fortunately a table for 4 became available as we arrived & we were seated on time.

We stopped here for a bite to eat after catching a sunset at May flower beach. We wanted to try something new. The food was good, the staff were attentive, friendly and efficient. Seating is limited but, comfortable. Plenty of parking. We enjoyed this little local favorite and if your in the area you should definitely pop in for a bite!

Ocean House is a beautiful setting, right on Nantucket Sound. Food and service are excellent. I had the tuna taco and a swordfish special. My husband had a salad and the cape cod chip encrusted cod. A couple of glasses of wine. We were here to celebrate my birthday and it was on the reservation. It would have been nice to have a complimentary dessert or just something special to acknowledge the event.

It was our last dinner in Cape Cod and it was a great evening with our teen. We had the seared striped bass, two ways chicken, fresh oysters, and duck confit and spinach salad. The food was cooked just right and the sauce for the fish was very flavorful. Our son really liked the sour apple in the duck salad. Our host Antonella was great!

Been passing this place for ten years and finally decided to try it. We were not impressed. The menu had a little of everything on it, and we tried a variety of different things. None of them were very good. The interior is dark and dated, and service was very average. There are too many good places around to go here, sorry.Sorry you were not impressed. We always wish for our customers to have a great experience, and most of them do.
