Reviews on Seafood food in Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico. One of the top diving destinations in the world for its bright storybook coral reefs, the island of Cozumel is also home to a variety of natural beaches. Choose a beach with soft white sand for relaxing, or snorkel off a rockier vista. A destination for both adventure and romance, Cozumel has a year-round Caribbean climate, untrammeled jungle and abundant nightlife.

Sister restaurant to the excellent Kinta. Was a much bigger space. Daniel the server recognized me from the first Kinta trip which was very nice. He even got the bartender to fix me the Margarindo that I enjoyed so much at Kinta (why is it not in the Kondesa menu? Shame, that). The Pulpo Linguine was just...okay. The octopus and pasta were a shade overcooked. At the opposite end of Calle 5 but also on the quieter side. I got eaten alive by mosquitos so next time I'll sit close to a fan. I went during slow season, so it's best to go earlier when the staff (in all the restaurants throughout the town) are eager to get the night started (or over with). Again, this place is on the fine dining side of things.

A true hidden gem, with friendly owners, live music, and fresh fish. Excellent hosts, reasonable prices and delicious food.
This is a dining experience. Great food and wonderful people and certainly off the beaten path. The fish and seafood is fresh and the food is well done. If you happen to be sensitive to the heat, this may not be your restaurant or island depending on your timing. It can be a little warm but it is always with it to me! The ceviche is fresh, the beer is cold, and the fish is whole!

Cozumel restaurant established in 1978, Yvonne's daily Specials of fresh fish, seafood platters and meats are well known to locals and tourists alike.
We had dinner and it was excellent. The Sangria was a nice drink. Service was top notch. I had spinach salad and lasagna and my husband had the red snapper. All of our food was excellent. I would highly recommend it.

Kinta is a contemporary Mexican Bistro in a lush Garden setting in downtown Cozumel. An exploration of the 5 senses awaits in Kinta.
This was another unexpected pleasant surprise. All of the food was great. My husband ordered the Filet MIgnon and 8 days later he's still talking about it. Good thing I took a picture so he can remember it forever :) One of the highlights though were the desserts. Every plate had a design done in colored syrup. They were beautiful and not to mention...tasty. Love love love this place.

After our last years visit with less than stellar service, we were invited back by Chef Paola Torroella, executive chef and general manager to "make it right". Again, making a reservation through Chef Paola, when we arrived there was a huge party taking place, when I told the hostess we had reservation, no one had a clue. I asked for Chef Paola there and after our greeting, all seemed OK. We were able to get one of the last tables for 4 in the front room with a beautiful view of the patio and waterfront. We were a party of 4, starting off with Margaritas (BTW great Margaritas). The food ordered was the Beef Carpaccio, Chicken with Rosemary and Potatoes, Pork Belly Tacos, Fried Fish Tacos and the Shrimp Mezcal Tacos.I think the food is delicious, Atmosphere is a beautiful old renovated home and service was much improved since the last time we wereHello akdeepdiverIt was great to read from you. We will let Chef Paola your opinion in order to her to know about the little incident that happened, its excelente that you enjoy your visit.Greetings!

Mediterranean cuisine with touch of Asian and Mexican flavors.
Beautiful room. Again, full staff in the restaurant, all bored and looking at their phones. I went there at 7 p.m. thinking they'll have some guests but that was not the case. I had a gin based cocktail which was enormous and the octopus. Not bad. I want to support the local economy, I really do, but when the people that work there are looking at you like you're bothering them (yes I realize it's slow throughout the island but common guys), you tend to eat quick and leave. Again, in high season I'm sure it's a different story.Hola! We apologize for the inconvenience. Weâll do our best to change our waiters actitud on low seasons! Look forward to see you soon and make you have a fantastic dinner!Juan Carlos Puga GM

Diego's is the cream of the crop. Do yourself a favor and try it. It is run by a mom and her children. The food is made with love and the taste is exceptional. The fresh guacamole is amazing as is their signature habanero cream sauce. We've tried their veggie tacos, shrimp tacos and Diego tacos. All three are fantastic. You will not walk away from there hungry. Portions and price are great. It is conveniently located by the airport. We usually walk off a short distance from airport property upon arrival and head straight for Diego's. We grab a taxi after decompressing from a long day of travel and enjoying our tacos. It's the perfect way to start or vacation. Upon leaving, we check in with the airlines and walk to Diego's for our last taco fix and walk back to board. We've, also, been known to take a taxi from our resort just to eat at Diego's. We visited 3 times this trip.Do yourself a favor and try it. You won't be sorry.

I found out about this restaurant on Trip Advisor and every comment was accurate. Our group had the Lobster Rolls and the Lobster Bowls. Everybody enjoyed the food and the portion size. The beer was ice cold. The restaurant is small and just off the main road. It was a little warm inside, but the food and service was excellent. We all walked out wanting to return again on the next trip.
