Some places draw you back, Cadgwith is one such. Hot coffees at The Inn were followed by a little treat for my wife, a crab sandwich bought here for consumption later, at Coverack. I'm told it was delicious.

Early April, early evening the restaurant was unheated and chilly but as more people arrived it warmed up. The music was initially rather intrusive and repetitive but this improved too as it was turned down. Decor is rather spartan and it is rather dark inside. Overall service was pleasant though a little absent at times. The Spanish house wine at £18 was pretty vile. Being a couple of cheapskates we often opt for the cheapest, but at £18 we expected something drinkable. The house home made bread was also awful, tasteless, limp, crumbly and doughy, they took it off the bill when I fed this back at the end . I wanted to mop up the sauces but the bread was so horrible it was difficult to achieve this. This took away from the enjoyment of the meal. Overall the tapas which were all chosen from the specials board were a mixed bunch. The chorizo which was first out was excellent, the beef shank in red wine was good and the scallop dish pretty yum yum. Less impressive was the rubbery chicken in a mediocre garlic sauce and the baby squid which was mainly batter and lacking any flavouring. Portions are generous. We paid £55 before tip. I have scored this a three, my partner wanted to score it a two. He complained about the wine more than I did which was a bit silly as he had been given it to taste at the beginning and he said it was fine. So to be fair to the restaurant they did not get the opportunity to change it.

We are an independent family run restaurant, specialising in pizza, pasta and seafood. All freshly cooked to order.
Have been here for lunch several times and always delighted to find a choice of items on the menu for vegetarians. The food is lovely, hot and well presented. I love looking at all the fascinating, old, black and white photographs on the wall. Waitress was lovely too. Can't wait to go again.

Nestled on the shoreline of Maenporth Beach, The Cove offers uninterrupted views across Falmouth Bay. A sanctuary from the bustle of reality, where you can enjoy lunch al fresco on the elevated terrace or wind down the day with the full dining experience.
We had been here a year previously and been quite impressed, but on this occasion the service was poor. There were large waits between courses, particularly between starter and main course. We noticed that other persons who arrived after us were served before us which seemed wrong and we mentioned this. Food was ok, but it seemed that over fussy details were added unnecessarily.

Eating and drinking is central to The Ferryboat Inn where we serve home-made pub classics alongside other delicious food. We have a 'farm to table' philosophy so that nothing comes between you and the produce we serve. Cheers, The Towill Family & Team.

We called in for lunch whilst visiting the stunning fishing village of cadgwith. We had the fish and chips which were cooked perfectly and very fresh and tasty and the baguette sandwiches which were served with chips and a beautiful salad which featured things like sweet peas in the pod, cress and peppers as well as different varieties of lettuce, cucumber etc. All in all very good value and very tasty. Highly recommended

At the far end of Coverack is the old a Lifeboat house, this now been converted into a little restaurant. The Doombar battered fish and chips are lovely, and the view out of end wall where the launch doors would have been is stunning. Sit and dine whilst watching the wild life entertain.
